Ideal for a family reunion. Well equipped. Clean. Nice garden
York was a great place to visit. Plenty to see and do. Railway museum is a must and property is very close to it. York motability very good with the more of a scooter for the weekend for my mum
Great value for money, very good location
Property is a very good location, approx 10 minutes walk to the centre of York. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and it was very well equipped and clean. As other reviews have said, it is starting to look a little tired in places but, at the time of booking, it was considerably cheaper than other properties, which were quite possibly on the same estate, and so I would consider it excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
The location of the house was excellent within an easy walk of the centre. The house itself was disappointing, overpriced for the quality. It looked great from the photos, was clean, but shabby inside, in need of proper maintenance. Wouldn't recommend or stay here again but it didn't spoil our stay as we were meeting family who live in York.
Thank you for your review. We pride ourselves on guests having a enjoyable stay. Sorry you were disappointed with the property. We would really appreciate it if you could come back to us so we are able to pass the details onto the owner of the property of how they could possibly improve it.
Great location with all the facilities
There were a selection of welcome items on arrival which is always appreciated. 3 good sized bedroom and bath and shower facilities. Fully equipped kitchen for more than 6 people. Convenient location to the station and city. Very comfortable place to stay. We have been visiting York regularly and when we have 6 of us again would look at this accommodation first.
Very good, well appointed holiday let
Our stay at George house was as good as ever, very well appointed property. There was a problem with heating when we arrived....I rang to report the problem, it was quickly dealt with.
Spacious House Close To York City Centre
House was spacious and well equipped in quiet development across the road from the Railway Museum. Very easy to walk into town and lots to do in the town centre. Would definitely book the house if we came to York again.
Many Thanks for your review.
