About Emma Brookes
Myself and Chris, along with our two daughters aged 7 and 11 relocated to France in May 2017. Originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, our love of France set us on a journey which eventually brought us to Creuse, often referred to as the Lake District of France. So we invite you to enjoy this gîte, with its superb central location, and prepare to adventure, escape completely and discover a different world here in Creuse. There really is nowhere we would rather be! We hope you feel the same!
Why Emma Brookes chose Boussac
Centrally located in town , in walking distance to all amenities.
What makes this Townhome unique
The Creuse region of France is the least populated and most untouched department in France and is renowned for its clean air, very little light pollution (stargazing is a must), beautiful forests, rich architectural and artistic heritage, stunning landscapes and variety of wildlife. Superbly located in the centre of Boussac and walking distance to the local shops, cafe and restaurants. Boussac is famous for its 12th century Château and its tapestries. Every Thursday surrounding the village square is a market and well worth a visit. Only 10 minutes away is another town called Gouzon with the largest Natural Nature Reserve in Limousin. The area surrounding the gite a fantastic place for a relaxing family holiday with lots of family friendly places to visit, or will equally suit the more adventurous with plenty of activities such as kayaking, quad biking, water skiing, go-karting, cycling , adventure in the trees, swimming in the aqua park and much more (see the welcome guide at the gite for more details)
