A delightfully nice space centrally just a hop-skip walk off of the downtown area. The home was gorgeous and spatially our group was able to have our own private spaces. We look forward to visiting again.
We really enjoyed staying in a re-modeled, convenient CB home! Two families with kids easily shared the space! We loved using the modern kitchen! We enjoyed the in-floor heating and the gas fireplace! Because we have 13 years of experience in the CB rental community we do know there are so many different experiences. This was definitely one of my favorite. In the winter season it is close enough to walk to the Nordic Center and catch the bus to the Alpine slopes! There was space for us to have all of our skis and bikes in the back!!! The property manager was easy to contact and responsive!!!
Our late September stay at this home in Crested Butte was perfect. The open layout allowed for social gatherings while the separate bedrooms allowed for private time and space. Excellent bedding and full kitchen were wonderful. The manager was more than accommodating, and the neighboring resident was friendly and helpful as well. In addition, this location lent itself to walking everywhere. We parked the car on Friday afternoon and never used it until we left on Monday. We definitely plan to return to this house in the near future.
We stayed here years ago and loved the location. The remodel is beautiful and well done, with great finishes and excellent craftsmanship. Very comfortable home within walking distance to many restaurants, stores and hiking trails .
Lovely in every way. Beautifully renovated, luxuriously appointed from soft bedding to plush towels to fully stocked kitchen. Missing only a drip coffeemaker, though we enjoyed our French-pressed coffee. Seconds to walk to everything. The owner was pleasant, accommodating, and communicative. Thanks for an excellent stay.
This home has a wonderful back patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening BBQ. It was wonderful being able to walk anywhere downtown and being close to some hiking/biking trails like the Woods Walk and Lower Loop. The size of the home is perfect for the whole family. I look forward to being able to come back this summer (2016) and experience the new beautiful remodel. I highly recommend staying at the Daisy Mine Cabin!
We have stayed here before, and were excited to return, but unfortunately it was not clean this time.
The floors were filthy, especially the kitchen. I wiped off a part of the floor and the dirt came off no problem, so I think they could improve it with a little elbow grease. In the bathroom, the shower curtain was pink and brown, not washed in a very long time. And the stairs, had so much visible dust on them, they were so slippery and treacherous. And the back yard had a significant amount of dog poop back there. Not on the flagstone, but all on the dirt/mulch, ALOT. We cleaned up our dog's mess, but if a tenant fails to do that, I'd expect the management to do so. It's a bit frustrating to pay a cleaning fee when it has not been cleaned for you.
On a positive note, we do love the back yard there (when dog poop not around) and the location is unbeatable for walking into town. But I'm not sure we'll go back to this house.
Information on the many Crested Butte outdoor activities is included in the house when you arrive. Or just let us know what you want to do ahead of time and we can help you arrange it!
