Terry and Beth
About Terry and Beth
Terry and Beth have been married for over 20 years. Terry was born and raised right here in Leelanau County in the property adjacent to the cabin entrance. Beth grew up in Charlevoix, MI and was raised on a dairy farm. They met in Traverse City and decided to make their permanent home right in the beautiful Leelanau Country close to where Terry grew up. They both have a love of nature and the outdoors.
Terry and Beth purchased this Cabin in 2017
Why Terry and Beth chose Traverse City
Terry purchased the property over 30 years ago and fell in love with the woods. After many years of enjoyment of the property he owns, he decided it was time to share the beauty of the property and build this small cabin. He and his wife, Beth now have two more cottages that they are able to share right on the property. All three are private and nestled in their own little area of the woods.
What makes this Cabin unique
If you want seclusion, this is it. It is quiet and close to so many places around the county and Traverse City.

A sweet retreat for couples
We reserved a private cabin for a long weekend. We experienced a time slowed romantic home away from home with all the amenities one would want and then some.......celebrated our anniversary and discovered a gem among all VRBO rentals. If you want to be pampered and comfortably spoiled, your search is over.
It was our pleasure to make you feel relaxed and at home. Our guests are so important to us, so we want to always make you feel special. Thank you again for choosing us to stay with, and we look forward to having you both back again in the future.
Beautiful Northern retreat
What a wonderful place to stay in the beautiful northern woods, very relaxing place to slow down the pace of everyday life and just watch the deer and all that nature has to offer. Beth and Terry were great and very accomodating.
It was a great change of pace and we appreciate the fact that Beth and Terry let us share there little paradise in the woods, we will differently return soon.
This was very relaxing, clean, and comfortable! We were very satisfied.
Close to town and well accommodated!
Cozy Cabin Excellence
Beth and Mike are amazing hosts with a spectacular eye for details. Their warm welcome began at our first interaction booking this property and continued throughout our stay. The Cozy Cabin in a Quiet Wooded setting exceeded the description from the impeccable amenities inside to the beautiful quiet wooded setting. We only wish there was a rating above 5 stars for the property and our hosts!
Thank you for the wonderful words. It is always our goal to make all our guests feel special. We are so happy that you enjoyed your experience from start to end. We look forward to having you return in the future.
3 days in the Cottage

We are so pleased that you had a wonderful and relaxing time. Look forward to having you come back again.
We cannot say enough good things about the French Country cabin. Gorgeous decor & all the little details made our stay perfect! Fluffy robes, cozy screened porch and outdoor fire table, cruising bikes for the TART trail; I can’t even list all of the bonus amenities!:) Beth is such a gracious & thoughtful hostess. We were greeted with a card & welcome basket with local goodies AND wine. What a perfect belated anniversary weekend. We are already planning our return next fall. Thank you, Beth!!
Our cabin is located it a wonderful place that enables you to enjoy many activities, attractions and services our area provides. We are close to the Tart trail for you to bike to Traverse City or a more adventurous ride to Suttons Bay. You may also drive just a mile up the road to a local winery or even take a walk there on a beautiful day from your cabin.
