50th Anniversary Family Weekend
This beautifully appointed log home in Breckenridge was perfect for our Labor Day weekend anniversary celebration with our 3 married children and 7 grandchildren. The teens and preteens loved the bunk room, pool table and hot tub. We all loved the big open concept kitchen and great room, sleeping accomotdations and patio. Perfect home for our celebration.

Nice place. Our children and grandchildren had a great vacation. A special thanks to Matt. He was especially helpful, responsive, and professional in updating the appliances.
Wonderful stay. Pillows and mattress could have been better
Thanks for the 5 star review. We replaced all of the pillows at the end of ski season. Perhaps they were to firm. So sorry they were not comfortable. Matt has many extra ones in the storage closet and he would have been happy to switch them out. The mattresses are also just a few years old.. Not sure which ones were not to your liking. We have 24/7 service for our guests, and are always happy to accommodate anyone's likes or dis-likes.
Excellent large home for multiple people
This is a great house in a spread-out neighborhood tucked close to the golf course. It's got 3 master bedrooms with en-suites and another bedroom upstairs with 2 double beds and a full bathroom directly outside from the room. The basement bunk room has beds for 6, bathroom with shower, refrigerator and sink and a game table. It's perfect for kids to escape! There is ample seating for meals between the dining room table and counter bar. The hot tub is a nice addition and well maintained. We only encountered a small glitch which the Property Manager addressed immediately. The advertised shuttle into town does not operate in the summer months so it is necessary to have a car. I would have liked more living room seating to accommodate more people during T.V. gathering. The kitchen is very well appointed with every utensil and pot/pan necessary, and the full sized washer/dryer was most welcomed. The only thing we had to purchase was food, laundry detergent & bottled water. Should the owner wish to upgrade anything my recommendation would be new pillows, especially in the master.
Great family time
It was a great area for kids to ride bikes but a slightly longer commute to Breckenridge than we had anticipated.
Our home is located in the town of Breckenridge proper, 5 to 7 minutes to Main Street, and about 4 to 5 minutes from the gondola lot. The guests never communicated in any of our conversations, or e-mails, that they desired to be walking distance to Main Street. Most of the larger homes in Breckenridge proper require driving 5 minutes to Main Street. Since their stay was over July 4th, perhaps the traffic made the distance seem longer. We are happy they enjoyed their stay at our home, and still provided us with a 5 star rating.
Wonderful location and accommodation.
Everything was as expected, clean, well supplied, and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the home is spacious. The kids loved the pool table and all the wildlife sightings, moose, foxes, deer and birds. Matt was Johnny on the spot with the few questions and needs we had. The weather was extraordinary because we drove in from Denver in rain/sleet and had sunshine the rest of the week. We highly recommend this property.
We are always glad to hear what a positive experience our home is for our guests. We really care, and want everyone to enjoy their vacation in our home. We try very hard to make each guests experience a great one. Cleanliness is a top priority for us, as well as our guests. We would welcome this family back any time!
Breckenridge winters are spectacular, and the summers are even better! Breckenridge gets 300 days of sunshine each year. Breckenridge is close to Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Vail, so you can really take advantage of the location as far as skiing many different areas.Skiing, snowshoeing, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiles and sledding are all popular sports for the winter. Summer activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, fishing, rafting, climbing, golfing and mine tours are some of the summer activities.
