About the property

Central though quiet location, full comfort: three bedrooms for six persons

On the ground floor, the bright living room and kitchen area flow into a cozy private terrace. The kitchen is fully equiped with, amongst others, a dishwasher, microwave, 4 burner electric hob. Downstairs also has a separate toilet with wash basin. The first floor has a bedroom with double bed (160x200) and dressing, separate toilet, bathroom with bath and shower fixture, hair dryer. The second floor hosts the second and third bedrooms, which each have two single beds (90x200).

The house was built end of 19th century and was fully renovated in 2002. The wooden floors have been carefully restored, giving the house a warm authentic atmosphere.

The house being located in an almost forgotten narrow side street, it really is a quiet and peaceful refuge even though the historic centre, the boutiques and shops are within a few minutes walking.

centrally located and quiet

Our family (2 adults + 3 teenage children) had a wonderful stay at Opaal. The house was even better than the photos - well-furnished (the kitchen had tea, coffee, spices, etc., the bathroom had a hair-drier), clean, and very well-located (a 10 minute walk to the center). There is a small grocery store nearby as well as a laundrymat. The owner provided a map, lots of tourist brochures, and was very helpful - he met us at the entrance and then we followed his car and he showed us where to park our car for free. We stayed 3 nights, which definitely was too short a time to see all of Brugge. We highly recommend Opaal and hope to return.

Casa Perfecta

La estancia en la casa ha sido perfecta, muy cerca del centro , 5 min a pie, muy bien atendidos por Martine. la utilizamos como punto de encuentro de la familia ya que llegamos desde Barcelona, Madrid y London. Nos encontramos como si hubiéramos estado en nuestra propia casa. Gracias Martine por todo.

Fantastic holiday house.

This is an absolutely fantastic house from which to explore the delights of Bruges. It is perfectly located within such easy walking distance of the historic city centre. The area is quiet and peaceful. Martine is a great hostess, warm, friendly and very helpful. The house has all you need for a very comfortable stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bruges.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Brügge Trip

Von Anfang an ein sehr netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt mit Martine. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral und dennoch sehr ruhig. Man hat alles was man braucht zur Verfügung. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und schon nach wenigen Tagen zuhause gefühlt. Nach langen Tagen zu Fuß in Brügge haben wir uns in den sehr gemütlichen Betten erholen können. Vielen Dank, Martine.

A place like home but very exciting

Spending Christmas in Bruges as a family was something we were most excited about, and the experience met - and bypassed - every expectation. We were thrilled by the proximity of everything we wanted to visit, the homely atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen, the relaxed atmosphere and very tasteful manner in which the living room was organized. Most impressive of all, our young children never stopped talking about the awesome view from their top-floor bedroom.: four towers! We also felt very safe in this cosy little house house full of warmth and taste.
