We have professionally decorated our beach home with all high-end finishes and we are just 100 yards to the beach. Featuring new furniture and bedding with all the amenities you may need to thoroughly enjoy your beach vacation. Our 2000sf home boasts a large living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, private backyard oasis, and 2 car garage. Inside dining for 14 and outside dining for 6. Beds include 1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Double, 4 twins, and 1 Queen gel sofa mattress. You will LOVE to open the windows and enjoy the fresh breezes and soothing sounds of the ocean.
Our goal when we bought this house was to design a world-class beach Get-a-Way that no one would ever want to leave. During our recent 6-month long renovation we have upgraded everything in our home. The list of new items includes all new windows and doors, wood flooring in main areas and carpet in bedrooms, bathroom fixtures and vanities, On-demand tankless water heater (never run out of hot water), high-end kitchen appliances, lighting and ceiling fans, bedroom sets with high-end hybrid mattresses, interior painting including ceilings, roof, backyard tropical paradise with a large gazebo and fire pit and horseshoe pit, hammock, large outdoor dual temperature dual spray shower stall, 6-person hot tub with salon lounger-lighting-waterfall and Bluetooth speakers. All interior and exterior furniture, fixtures, and decor are also brand new. We have even installed a home automation system for your convenience and safety. Not stopping there, because we know what can be important to vacationers, we installed a HIGH-speed WIFI and DIRECTV with 900+ channels. All new 55" flat screen TV in the family room and all new 40" smart TVs in the bedrooms. Home is also child friendly with toys, high-chair, and baby crib for your convenience. Our over-sized 2 car garage has bicycles, sports equipment, beach cart/toys/towels/umbrellas, boogie boards, wagon, fishing equipment, tools, air compressor, and extra tables for large gatherings. Please be courteous to our future guests by cleaning and placing the items back where they belong. If you lose or break an item please let us know so we can replace it for others to use.
We just completed our professionally landscaped front yard renovation (Aug 2018). Designed in the same backyard tropical oasis theme, we now have an additional large front patio with adirondack chairs to enjoy beautiful ocean sunrises with your morning Joe. The front yard is centered around an awesome Eastern Sunrise boulder and the patio is connected to the nautical-style parking area by a natural boardwalk. There is now parking for 3 vehicles in the front yard, 4 vehicles in the driveway, and at least one vehicle in the garage.
You will have everything you need at our home except food, toiletries, and your clothing. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy your vacation in worry-free BIG SURF style.
- Absolutely NO smoking in the home including garage.
- Absolutely NO pets on the premises. We have had guests use a neighbor's pet boarding business called Beach Livin' Dogs. We can make arrangements for you if you desire.
- All guests must be at least 30 years old unless accompanied by their parent.
From I-95 take SR-40 (Granada blvd) and make left on Ocean Blvd (A1A). Take left on Surfside Drive (about 5.3 miles) and it is the first house on the left.
The home is secured with a Home Automation system and the main door entry has a coded keyless entry lock for your convenience. You will receive your private code the day before your check-in. Please ensure all doors and windows are locked when you check-out.
PLEASE call or text us 24/7 for any questions you may have. Our local family members and friends are available for your assistance as well. The HVAC, plumbing, and electrical are all brand new, but if you do have any issues we have contracted with repair companies for immediate concerns.
Very quiet neighborhood with lots of outdoor fun things to do. Our section of Ormond Beach is a non-driving beach with NO public parking so the beach is essentially your private retreat. Great beach activities including surfing, fishing, shell/crab hunting, and kite flying all just steps from the house. A 5 minute walk to the bottom of our street is the Halifax River (Inter-Coastal Waterway) with a whole other set of fun things to do. Enjoy trail walking, fishing, kayaking, sailing, motor boating and even more activities at the Tamoka State Park.
Our favorite restaurants are Lagerheads Beach Bar and Grill (3 blocks), Betty’s A1A Café (.6 miles), Alfies (1.4 miles), and Oceanside Beach Bar and Grill in Flagler (8 miles). Stavros Italian restaurant is great too and they deliver. If you want to enjoy driving on Ormond/Daytona beach the access is on the corner of Granada and A1A (5.3 miles south).

You are responsible for paying a total of 12.5% tax; 6% is remitted to the County of Volusia Tourist Development Tax office. The additional 6.5% is remitted to the Florida Department of Revenue.
We are flexible with our check-in/check-out policy and will try to accommodate your requests. Depending on other bookings and the cleaning company’s schedule we will need to coordinate before we can approve alternate times.
