A lovely mews flat. It could use brighter lighting in the living room for evening reading,
A lovely place in a quiet location close to everything. If you arrive by tube at South Ken, follow signs for museums to the very end of a long underground walkway. You are then just about opposite the entry to the mews and the flat is 5 minutes away
Great little nest in wonderful little neighborhood
The Mews is exactly as pictured. It was a delight to stay in. Very comfortable. And so close to everything. But also tucked away in its own little neighborhood. So, yes, we were constantly at the V&A and hitting the Big Sights, but would also wander down to our favorite little neighborhood spots and feel a part of it all. We hope to be back!
Lovely corner of Knightsbridge/Hyde Park/S.Kensington
This flat was perfect for two adults and a child. Very quiet street. Kitchen has all amenities, lovely bathroom, bedroom and living room. Close to South Kensington Station, museums, Boots, M&S foods, and Harrods. I stayed in Ennismore Gardens years ago on visits and was so happy to find this flat.
Comfortable and conveniently located
We recently stayed in the flat for a week on a sightseeing trip to London. The flat was very comfortable for the two of us. It is located on the mews near the Victoria and Albert Museum. A very quiet back street but only a six minute walk from the Piccadilly Line. There are several grocery stores nearby and Whole Foods is about a 20 minute walk. There are also several good restaurants nearby. We especially liked Zia Teresa, across the street from Harrods.
The apartment is on the second floor, up some relatively narrow stairs. While it wasn't an issue for us, it could be a challenge for travelers with limited mobility or heavy baggage.
This apartment met our needs perfectly and we would be happy to stay here again.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ennismore Gardens Mews apartment. The apartment is very comfortable in a very safe neighborhood. The management team made our arrival and departure very easy. We were two adults and a 16 year old who slept on the pullout couch. I would highly recommend this apartment for 2-3 people--four might be a bit tight.
Knightsbridge’s main draw is the shopping – it is the site of London's most famous store and rich man's playground, Harrods, which most visitors sensibly enjoy more as an attraction than a retailer. Any committed shopper will enjoy browsing the stores (or perhaps just store windows) of the area's international fashion houses or London-based designers. These shops prey on Knightsbridge’s wealthy and fashionable sets, and reflect the fact that it is one of London’s most desirable locales. Architecturally, the same residential features unite Knightsbridge and Belgravia – broad leafy streets, stucco squares, cobbled pastel mews, and an aristocratic feel exuded by large townhouses flanked by wide-set columns. In the same vein, centrally located but infinitely more affordable, sits Pimlico. The area is perfectly situated to reach central London, enjoying beautiful views across the river to Battersea and almost personal access to Buckingham Palace and Westminster.
