A wonderful light and modern second floor apartment housed in a historic protected building situated just on the edge of the Bordeaux triangle. The apartment has 3m high ceilings and is light and airy with the rooms facing south and west. The apartment is fully furnished, full double glazing in all sleeping areas with louvred shutters to diffuse the sunshine in the morning.

When entering the apartment you are welcomed by the living area which includes a dining area housed in a bay window area. The room has 3m high ceilings with muslin curtains to allow the daylight to stream in. Wooden parquet floors right through the apartment and period granite fireplace. There is a sofa that converts into a double bed to sleep two additional people. There is a sleek 3D enabled, 200Hz LED TV for you to relax and lounge, a desk for a quiet study area with high speed internet access.

Off the living area is a shower room with a brand new shower cubicle, WC and washbasin to give you additional privacy and flexibility either as a family or for your additional guests.

On the other corner of the living room is a door leading to a well equipped galley kitchen. With a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, fridge freezer. With a window letting lots of light in due South.

Leading towards the opposite side of the living area is an opening into the study area which includes an antique desk and high speed wireless internet and a single armchair the folds into a bed. The room is fully double glazed.

Through this room you are embraced by the spacious and modern Master bedroom. This large master bedroom 4.5 m x 4m has a large mirrored wardrobe, dressing table, private seating area and a very comfortable large double bed. The windows are fully double glazed with Muslin curtains.

Through the master-bedroom door there is a squared hall way with three doors leading to the second bedroom, a separate modern built in WC and the third door to another shower room.

The second bedroom houses a very comfortable suede double bed with bed side tables and lamps. Room is equipped with blinds and double glazed windows.

The shower room has a built in shower cubicle with a modern washbasin and additional storage area below.

Nice location, good apartment, perfect stay

The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, very close to the pedestrian area, the opera, a parking and supermarket (everything in 5 minutes walk) . Very well equiped kitchen (even 2 coffee makers: classic italian and nespresso style) and everything working perfectly. Superb wifi, very fast conection. The days were cold but the apartment was very well heated We felt we were at home.

Appartement idéalement placé en plein cœur de Bordeaux, au calme, bien équipé et très propre. Rien à redire !

À proximité je recommande pour un verre (de vin) et un dîner genre tapas le wine bar du boutique hôtel : très bons vins, sommelier très accueillant, belles et bonnes assiettes.

Pour garer véhicule le parking souterrain des Grands Hommes est à quelques centaines de mètres, tarif réduit via la location de l'appartement.

Bordeaux is undoubtedly most famous worldwide for its superb wines. It is the capital of the region known as Aquitaine and is a major cultural centre and a transportation hub between southern France and Spain.

The elegant city is rich in history, culture, arts, music, legendary wines and gastronomy. It is not only the fine wines capital of the world but also a vibrant centre of trade, industry, services and business.

The city centre is known for its neoclassic architecture and wide avenues, which over recent years have undergone a major investment to include cleaning up the building façades and renovating the quayside, to make a fashionable restaurant and bar district. A state of the art tram system is now operating in the city, which has reduced traffic congestion and left the city centre pedestrianised and easy to navigate.

Bordeaux is a fantastic showcase for Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance art displayed in museums, churches, forts, galleries, mansions, gardens and public walkways and buildings.

If you wish to break up the hustle & bustle of the City during your stay the apartments offer an ideal base from which to explore the Aquitaine Region.

It is easy to hire a car from the airport or the train station. For those interested in viniculture, Bordeaux is surrounded with Châteaux and vineyards. The most famous St Emilion only half an hour away, the Medoc or Haute Medoc due North and the Graves and Entre-deux Mers area due South East of Bordeaux.

If you want a bit of sea air then the Atlantic coast, with Arcachon, Ile de Re or Biscarosse with huge sand dunes, gorgeous beaches and wonderful seafood restaurants are all within an hours reach.

Bordeaux is a fantastic urban City steeped in history as well as offering plenty of green space. The Quay has been transformed with amazing gardens, lawned areas with avenues of lime trees and even the trams drive on grass tracks. Jardin de Public is close by to the apartments where you will find a great city centre park with Botanical gardens, children’s playground with a Carousel and a restaurant / café to pass a sunny afternoon.
