This is a comfortable house in a holiday village which is closed by gates. There is no through traffic and therefore very safe for children and quiet.

It can sleep 4 people in two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds.

There is one bathroom downstairs and a separate toilet and shower room upstairs.

There are 3 pleasant terraces with chairs, deckchairs and tables as well as a small garden.

the house is well equiped with dishwasher, machine machine, microwave oven, 2 fridges and a freezer, internet and telephone.

There is a playground in the holiday village and a playroom to play table football and table tennis. We have tennis table bats in the garage.

About owner

The house was built in 1974 and as a family of teachers living in the centre of France, we enjoyed spending all our holidays in our seaside house. We liked it so much that we decided to retire in Six-Fours. The house and mainly the garden were too small to be the permanent home of active retired people but selling the house was absolutely out of the question so we bought a plot of land 800 metres away to have a larger house with a big garden and we kept the smaller house for our 4 children and their families so that they could be independent when visiting us with our grand children. They spent many holidays there and our our grand children made many long time friends there. They are grown ups now. My husband died 3 years ago and I had to sell the big house. I had the small house fully renovated to the purpose of using it as my permanent

home. But I soon realised it was a long way from Paris where 3 of my children live. Yet, selling it was out of the question again and it is to be kept for the next generation. Therefore, the only alternative was to let it to people for the time being, in the hope they will enjoy their stay as much as we did. Marie Agnès Bouteyre

What makes this house unique

Contrary to most houses and flats near the sea and the beaches, this house is in a very quiet surrounding.

You need not use your car a lot, thanks to numerous cycle tracks of the town.

A car may be necessary to go to the very popular beach of Bonnegrace, but you can walk to the ones near the harbour of Le Brusc in 15-20 minutes or cycle there in a few minutes.

Six-Fours is situated at the tip of a peninsula with 18 kms of coastlines, islands and numerous sandy beaches. Thanks to numerous cycle tracks, you need not use your car a lot.

You have to drive to the largest and most popular beaches with lots of entertainements for children, but it takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the one near the harbour of Le Brusc and from 10 to 12 minutes to walk to a small, secluded beach away from the main road. It is the one where most of our neighbours walk to.

A great surface of the peninsula is covered in forests where paths are opened to hikers, horse-riders and mountain-bike riders and a great number of them to cyclists too. There are ample opportunities for diving - 2 diving-schools nearby- and wind-surfing. The town is renowned for the cleanliness of its beaches.

There are good opportunities for rock-climbing at all levels all the year round and for people interested in golf, there is an excellent golf course -18 holes- near Bandol, within 20minutes'drive.

A 5 minutes'boat ride from the harbour of Le Brusc takes you to the island 'Les Embiez' with its aquarium and aquascope.

You can take a boat to Toulon harbour from La Seyne sur Mer (near Six-Fours).

Every afternoon in summer, a boat takes you from Sanary-sur-mer to Les Calanques de Cassis

Old medieval villages are within 5 minutes'ride

It is a peaceful touring base for Nice, Cannes, Menton, Saint Tropez on the East, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Avignon on the West, the cliffs of Verdon Canyon and the Lubéron to the North

Excellent Time in Six-Fours

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Six-Fours. The property was well described and provided for all of our needs. The owner Marie-Agnes was very helpful (especially helping us find our way to the property). We're very grateful to Sylvia for staying late to greet us at the property.

The town of Six-Fours is convenient for touring various southern France cities. A car is recommended by Marie-Agnes and I would agree. Even if just to get to the nearest train station. We did not try the bus at anytime, but that could also be a possibility. Basically, we ate breakfast and dinner in the house and our lunches were taken in St. Tropez, Nimes, Cannes, and Monaco. There is a park nearby at Batterie du Cap Negre which had some nice views of two beach areas.

I would definitely recommend this property to others if you're looking for a reasonable place to stay in the French Riveira with good access to many cities and an immersion in French culture.

Lieu Calme et Agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette maison, elle est très bien située dans la résidence et très bien équipé. l'essentiel est présent dans la maison.

Sa situation a Six fours permet de faire de nombreuses visites dans la région

petite maison trés agréable

nous avons passé un excellent mois de juin dans cette jolie petite maison.

Nous avons apprécié les 2 salles de bain, les lits faits à notre arrivée.

Il faut dire que nous avons eu un temps magnifique. La wifi marche trés bien,

la personne sur place est trés sympathique.

Le seul "bémol", le jardin était un peu négligé.

Reihenendhaus in einer abgeschlossenen und ruhigen Wohnanlage unmittelbar in der Nähe der Strände

Wir wurden von Sylvia sehr nett im Haus begrüßt. Das Reihenendhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnanlage. Die Ausstattung weißt alles auf was zum täglichen Leben benötigt wird; uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Auf der schönen Terrasse konnten wir uns gut entspannen, essen und den Zikaden lauschen. In der Umgebung gibt es viele schöne Strände, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten dessen Besuch sich wirklich lohnt. Sehr empfehlenswert ist eine Fahrt um die Verdonschlucht. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen, vielen Dank Agnès!

Location au calme à la mer !

Location conforme à la description, très bien placée au calme et à 1km de la mer. Parc de jeu pour les enfants avec terrain de foot et de tennis très apprécié de nos enfants. Juste manque un peu de vaisselle pour 4 personnes et une étente à linge pliable.

Owner's Response: il y a bien un étendoir à linge pliant au garage. Il avait dû être rangé au fond du garage et de ce fait, peu visible.

SEJOUR TRES AGREABLE

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour : les + : 2 douches, 2 WC, grand garage pour stocker, on peut garer la voiture juste devant la maison, jardin terrasse très ombragée avec bains de soleil, 2 frigos, le wifi fonctionne très bien, la plage à 15-20 mn à pied (nous avons préféré la plage du Cros plus grande).Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée, la personne sur place est très disponible. Il y a des guides et des cartes disponibles . Bref, nous avons vraiment bien profité de notre séjour.
