The neoclassical residence resting within 35000m2 of meticulously designed Mediterranean gardens in Agia Marina was initially built in 1893. Declared a cultural monument by the Greek Ministry, it has been fully renovated to serve the highest of nowadays standards while at the same time preserving the essence of another era. Same nostalgic theme permeates the interior which consists of a study, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a master bedroom with en suite bathroom on the first floor, as well as two additional bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. Also on the ground floor is the living room adorned with a central fireplace and two dining spaces, one of which overlooking the 120m2 swimming pool, all supported by a fully equipped kitchen.
The garden has been designed in such a way as to provide a beautiful relaxing atmosphere for a carefree vacation.
The blue color of the sky reflecting on the swimming pool comes in contrast with the evergreen of the large open lawn areas surrounding the villa. This serene painting also includes a small chapel dedicated to St. Fanourios, surrounded by century old olive trees, willow trees and blooming roses. In fact there are several sitting spots around the house fully equipped with outdoor furniture, including a gazebo where one can let go of worries and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
While exploring the gardens, populated by indigenous plants and flowers setting up a colourful pallet, guests are also welcome to taste over twenty different fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, peaches and apricots depending on the season, all produced within the estate. Close to the house, mostly masked from common sight by jasmine and wisteria bushes, is the basketball/tennis court, in case someone prefers to mix relaxation with some sports activity. Finally, for those renting a car, two parking spots are available in the underground garage.
I loved this place since I was a child because of the beautiful scenery the sea and the beach offers, the calming and peaceful environment and the variety of fruits in the garden. I also like the atmosphere of the traditional house and the ability to visit so many interesting places all around without wasting time.
The place has an unbelievably beautiful architecture, a refreshing big swimming pool, tennis and basket courts and the small church that someone can enjoy a deep meditation. The house offers a stunning view of the surrounding area from the terrace and various spots in the garden. There is also a small patch of forest trees where someone can enjoy the cool breeze during the hot days in the summer.
We had a marvelous stay in this amazing house. Mairy was a very thoughtful and gracious host. The house was well equipped and our family had a wonderful vacation.
The pool is amazing and picking fruits from the large orchard was great. The beach is ten minutes away and Olympia is very close. We had a large group and were all comfortable. Our children spent their time in the pool and the large garden and had the time of their life. The AC In August was a welcome addition. But what really made a difference was the house manager Katia and her husband Vasili who worked really hard on a daily base to keep the house impeccable. We felt so welcomed and lucky to be there.

The quiet beach of Agia Marina only 700m from the villa is part of the beautiful continuous sandy coast of western Peloponnesus also including the blue flag beaches of Kourouta and Skafidia, each easily accessible by car within 10 minutes. The world renowned site of ancient Olympia characterizing the area is only a 30 minutes drive while the medieval castle and spa facilities of Kyllini, the NATURA protected Lake of Kaiafas or the touristic port of Katakolo can also be reached by car within 40 minutes and are highly recommended for visiting.
Daily provisions and freshly baked bread can be acquired from the mini market and bakery of Douneika Village within walking distance. Additionally, the town of Amaliada can easily be reached by car within 10 minutes and Pyrgos within 15 minutes, both of which equipped with all the amenities such as supermarkets, bakeries, banks, hospital and everything you might need.

Visitors are fully responsible for any damages. A refundable Damage deposit of €500 will be paid prior to arrival.
Housekeeper resides within the field in a separate secluded house and will provide daily cleaning as well as tending of the garden and swimming pool. For all rental periods linen and towels will be changed mid week, more frequent changes can be agreed.
Energy and water bills are included. Telephone is only available for local use.
Visitors must be insured by a full comprehensive travel insurance including all personal accidents,death and property losses.
