Villa Cicerone has big living rooms and impressive marble features. The garden is beautifully tended, with a perfect lawn, Mediterranean trees and plants and flowers. The pool (size 12 x 6m., deep 1,60m.) is in use from the 1st of May until the end of October. Indoor and outdoor living combine seamlessly due to a series of bright living areas and their communication with the garden, that is beautifully tended and has areas, which remain shaded throughout the day. The villa is on two floors. From the main entrance one accesses the enormous living room with two fireplaces, many comfortable couches and a lot of art. The kitchen opens onto a wonderful covered patio outdoor kitchen and a lawn, perfect for al fresco dining. From this part of the garden stairs lead to the pool that is positioned on the highest part of the garden, offering a fantastic view on the coast. All six bedrooms are on the first floor. As well as two bathrooms. One with shower and the other with jacuzzi and sauna.
Situated at the entrance of the town Minturno, it is possible to walk to shops.
The villa has private parking.
Because of the presence of central heating Villa Cicerone offers a pleasant stay also during low season.
Since 2006 we have accurately selected for you only those houses that are able to unfold Italy's colours and charm at best. We have started with properties in Sicily and the Aeolian Islands (intoSicily), but our enthusiasm has been quickly appreciated beyond these borders. Our houses are now in Sardinia, Tuscany, Marche and Calabria. Houses in unique locations with quality furnishing and friendly home owners, which we are proud to propose to you with transparent information, true pictures and our best price/quality deal. All this to satisfy our biggest wish: to see you falling in love with Italy just like we did.
My family and I had a lovely stay! The house is charming , comfortable and very spacious. The gardens are lovely. It is ideal for a large family as there are so many areas inside and out to accommodate a group. We had such nice evenings dining and cooking in the outdoor kitchen. There is a view of the sea to enjoy as well.
The hosts made us feel welcome. Within easy walking distance were small markets that had all necessities. We don't speak Italian but managed well thanks to the helpful and kind nature of the local people.
While here we hired a local taxi driver, Antonio. For as much as it cost us to take a train we had the convenience of our own driver for trips to Pompeii and a stunning drive along the Amalfi coast and shopping in Vietri and Positano.
A trip we will remember for all time!
The house and garden are just beatiful with a wonderful view of the sea. The house wasn't used for a long time when we arrived so it could have been aired before, but it was clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The small village offered a bakery, a fruit store, a bar and some good restaurants, very nice and smooth within walking distance.
The host was very friendly and helpful in all matters.
We had a perfect stay in Villa Cicerone and perticularly enjoyed the pool. The house had everything we needed, and the Price was all inclusive - no extra charges. The service during our stay was really good.
Family Bech from Denmark
ATTENTION
Villa Cicerone sits on the southern flank of the hill on which the cute village Minturno overlooks the coast of Scauri. Scauri distances 3 km from Villa Cicerone, and has a beautiful sandy beach. Scauri takes its name from the Roman consul Marcus Aemilius Scaurus, who had a sumptuous villa here. Also the next seaside towns Formia, Sperlonga and Gaeta are very nice places to visit and of course the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Royal Palace of Caserta cannot be forgotten.
