Apartment 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, with its breathtaking view

A spacious apartment full of light in the lively and lively district of Flagey (Ixelles) with a breathtaking view of Place Flagey, the Palais de la Radio (the steamer), the ponds of Ixelles, the church Ste Croix. It has two bedrooms - one with a 160cm bed, another with a 140cm bed, living room, fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom / shower, separate toilet with sink. A mattress-futon of 140cm can be made available in the living room at the cost of an additional person. A baby cot is offered to our youngest guests. We can accommodate up to 6 adults and 1 baby. WIFI, flat screen TV.

Flagey is a neighborhood to live with restaurants (in Brussels the food is great!), Bars with large sun terraces, the Museum of Ixelles, the Children's Museum, the Museum of Natural Sciences, the House-Museum Horta, the Architecture Center. Furthermore Place Flagey is the starting point of the Art Nouveau circuit.

And if you feel like fruits, vegetables and seafood do not miss a walk between the benches of the weekend market, the oyster bar, flowers!

If you like to walk you are served: you will be in a few minutes in the Bois de la Cambre, the Avenue Louise and houses new art and - why not - shops, university campuses ULB and VUB, the European Institutions, the Chatelain neighborhood.

For the lazy bus, tram, taxi are on the up ... The South Station (trains to and from Paris - 1:20 '- London - 2:20') is connected by tram 81 Grand Place by bus 71 which also take you to the nearest metro Porte de Namur.

Exploring Brussels

The flat was well appointed and comfy. It was centrally located and only a short walk from most sites we wanted to see. There is a grocery store across the street as well as an amazing artisan cheese shop. There is some street noise that reaches the flat but once you’re asleep you don’t notice it at all. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly!

Great location

We fully enjoyed the apartment and location. My wife, daughter(20) and myself stayed. Monica was very helpful and responsive. The amentities were good for us as we were visiting family in the area. We did not need to prepare meals but kitchen was fully equipped. A couple things to be aware of, these are not big issues, noise off the square at night and no fans. The square is actually a great part of the location, wonderful market on the weekends, but since it was hot and there are no fans we had to open the windows at night. Easy access to the trains as we took a day and traveled to Brugge. There are good cafes, restaurants and shops near by. I recommend the shops and restaurants on Chaussee d'xelles. We also walked to the Grand Place.... gorgious!!

The apartment is not equipped with fans because Brussels is not well known for its high temperatures!You just came during the hottest days in Brussels... Nevertheless thanks to the fact that my apartment has two expositions, square and backyards, there is way of having air but no noise by opening the four windows at the backyard side. Kind regards. Favourite Belgian apartment!

This apartment is perfectly located and is large and spacious, with comfortable beds and excellent amenities

The convenience of the bus to downtown and the tram to Bruxelles -Midi stopping out front was indeed perfect. The EU area and downtown are bith in walking distance.

The market on the weekends was amazing. The diversity of foods available and the excellent grocery stores and delicious bakery on the square were used and appreciated!

Nice Apartment; Lovely Owner

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location was fabulous, the unit was very clean and well appointed, and the owner was incredibly helpful. Everything was clean. Beds were comfortable, and the unit was very spacious. We loved being right on Flagey Square, and Monica was extremely helpful in recommending restaurants and explaining how to use public transportaion in the area. We highly recommend renting this unit!

Great moments in Bruxelles

It was a nice well equipped 2 bedroom apt, in a lively neighborhood. Monica was very helpful and could be reached easily. It was about 20 minutes walking distance to major parks and museums . Just around the corner you have public transportation, restaurants and supermarkets. One can enjoy many kinds of Belgium stile beers. For people like me that like to run, there is a huge park that starts just across the street.

Amazing location - loved Flage!

Beautiful apartment with a great view overlooking the flagey square! A few steps from the metro line and about 20 minute walk to downtown Brussels (we did it with young children without a problem).

The apartment is neat, immaculate and has everything you could want. Well equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator,, two large bedrooms (both with double beds), a spacious living room and a washer & dryer unit.

Close to a a beautiful and historic neighborhood with great architecture, and a beautiful pond with a path for walking or running. Numerous restaurants within a three block radius, and a grocery store just around the corner. Secure parking available under flagey square at a reasonable price.

Monica, the property manager, is exceptional and made us feel welcome from the moment we met. She took time to explain the surrounding area, recommend a couple of good local restaurants, the fries at flagey square (worth the wait and the calories), and activities for our young children. When we departed, we forgot the children's jackets and she took the time to mail them to us!

Hands down one of the nicest apartments we have had the pleasure of staying in! I highly recommend this flat!

Place Flagey is one of the trendiest places in the capital, with its weekend market, its cultural center located in the former Maison de la Radio, green spaces around Ixelles Ponds. Flagey opened in 1931 - the Ship - was one of the first radio broadcasting buildings in the world, designed by the Belgian architect Joseph Diongre.

To reach the apartment:

- From MIDI STATION, tram 81 towards MONTGOMERY FLAGEY stop;

- From ZAVENTEM AIRPORT, bus 12 (or bus 21 after 20h, statutory holidays, Saturday and Sunday) off LUXEMBOURG. Then bus 38 to HEROS FLAGEY stop.

The Airport Line is an express service (30 minutes) between Brussels Airport and the European quarter.

All buses STIB depart from platform C.

To save time and money, buy your ticket to GO vending machines before boarding. The ticket bought on the bus is more expensive.
