Joanna & Andrew love North Berwick , its beaches and golf. Andrew spent his happy childhood holidays in North Berwick and over 45 years later the couple still, attracted to its unique charm, were able to return to invest in this glorious Victorian property. When it came on the market the location & opportunity were too good to miss !
Based in the North West of England, Joanna is a barrister-at-law and Andrew runs his own business consultancy.
Both Andrew & Joanna are keen sportspeople and remain members at North Berwick Golf Club.
They love - as you will - the escapism of the area, the outdoors and the proximity to Edinburgh.
They aim to ensure you will have a wonderful, comfortable stay, and their whole team are driven to make your experience one you will want to repeat.

What another wonderful stay in Marine Lodge. This is a fantastic apartment with lots of living space for a family of 5 and it has everything you need for a weeks holiday. You really get the wow factor from the minute you open the front door looking in to the large hallway. Andrew the owner has thought of everything even decorating the house with decorations for Christmas/New Year. This is our second time here and have booked again for 2017. North Berwick is a great place for exploring; lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. A 30 minute train journey and you are in the bustle of Edinburgh. We love North Berwick and love Marine Lodge, our second home.
Our 3rd visit can't wait for the 4th . Very welcoming and well appointed property well worth a visit
This is the 3rd time that I have had the pleasure of staying in this apartment. It is spacious, well maintained and would I return for a 4th stay, absolutely. I have stayed in the summer and the winter and both have been very relaxing and enjoyable.
Recently had the privilege of staying at the Marine Lodge in North Berwick. The apartment itself was well appointed, comfortable and very spacious. Andrew was a delight to deal with, providing us with lots of info and recommendations that helped make our holiday memorable. The "Scottish welcome items" Gordon provided on arrival were very appreciated as was the fact that he was available for any questions or concerns we might have encountered.
We thoroughly enjoyed North Berwick! Not only is it a short 30 minute train ride to Edinburgh but there are a wealth of excellent golf courses nearby (North Berwick West Links is virtually across the street). A short walk down the street and you are in the centre of town with lots of excellent restaurants to choose from.
Sincerely hope we have the opportunity to visit in the future.
I would highly recommend this property.
Our first time at Marine Lodge and it certainly won't be our last. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The attention to detail is evident throughout with every effort having been made to ensure that visitors have an enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing stay. Marine Lodge is ideally placed to take advantage of all that North Berwick has to offer - and being so dog friendly is an real added bonus. I would highly recommend this property. If you are looking for an excellent lunch, lovely home made cakes or a full works Scottish breakfast, then the café at Merryhatton Garden Centre is the place for you.
Beautiful location and very tastefully decorated property with great attention to detail. Relaxing airy rooms with high quality beds, bedding and furniture. Easy walking access to all of the local artisan shops, excellent restaurants and the beach. Dog friendly and a sheltered outside space for eating. Good contact from owner, and his agent in the area, made everything go smoothly.
