Our Review:We just wanted to say thank you for our stay in July. We have been all around Europe staying in villas but yours was by far the best we have ever stayed in. We usually like to use the villa as a base and go off on adventures....but at your villa we found it difficult to leave!!! The pool is fantastic, the villa is fantastic, the attention to detail in the villa is fantastic!!! Everything was fantastic!! Thank you 5 stars ***** Thoroughly recommend this villa.
We had a fabulous stay in this house overlooking the Tuscany hills. The views from the house are stunning ( I counted 7 rows of hills) and the house itself is (even) better than it looks on the pictures. It is located very quietly while being walking distance from the village (with restaurant). The pool is large and kept perfectly clean and has this great views on the surroundings. Louise came by every now and then to provide us with great fresh food from her garden (tomatoes from a quite different quality!). The surroundings (Garfagnana, Alpi Apuane) are great for hiking and biking and Lucca is an hour drive.
All in all: a perfect two weeks!!
A fantastical place in lower part of the Mountains nord of Lucas not easy to find , but with a faiboulos surroundings.
The host Louse springer was outstanding and she served us perfectly, our grandchildren played with hers, so it was very familier. she braught egs and salat etc very often, and she came to us for being sure that everything was in order. The house was very proper, so we can recommand it warmly to other people WHO wants real italian villiges and not the normal touristplaces.
Absolutely wonderful week. We loved the area, the friendly village and our extremely kind host, Louise. The house was perfect for a family of 6. We enjoyed using the pizza oven and eating outside every night looking at the incredible view. The pool is in a stunning position and you look across a beautiful Valley. Trips to Pisa and Lucca were enjoyable. I would love to return to this house and experience this again. Thank you so much Louise for your kindness and your lovely wine and salad, much appreciated.
We spent our last week of May in this beautiful converted barn, 2 families of three. The upstairs of the barn divides into two separate areas, which makes it perfect for 2 families. Indoor is spacious and nicely decorated (pics don't do it justice). It's all about the outdoor space though: beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds, sofa group, dining space, pizza oven and table tennis - all which overlooks the best view in Northern Tuscany!! Louise gave us a warm welcome and offered us her own home made prosecco, cold beer and some sandwiches which was nice after a long journey from Norway. The hosts were always available if we needed them but never imposing. All necessary things like clean beddings and towels, shampoo, toilet paper, tea and coffee etc were provided.
This place is a very good base for day trips to cinque terra and Lucca (although if the sun is beaming you probably just want to stay!)
Thank you Louise for making our holiday perfect, we really enjoyed ourselves and are very sorry we did not get to say goodbye before we left Saturday morning. We might meet again!

We had a lovely weeks stay here in early June. We were 3 adults and 2 young children.
Both the villa and views are stunning. The villa has been beautifully restored and was immaculate. High chairs and cots were provided at no extra cost. The cots had even been made up with cosy blankets and pillows - a real difference to most other villas we have stayed in.
The pool and outdoor space are both fantastic. The pool is large. It was a bit chilly when we first arrived but started to warm up towards the end of the week when the weather improved. We made a lot of use of the BBQ and wood oven. The views are just stunning - the photos don't do it justice. Sitting outside all you can hear are crickets and cow bells!
We found a small grocery shop, cafe, and local butchers within a 5 min drive, but other than that the nearest supermarket is a 20 mins drive. We visited the fort (Fortezza di Verrucole) which was definitely worth the walk and the 360 views amazing.
Would definitely return and recommend. Thanks
Louise, we had a lovely stay.
Our first impression was the beautifull and luxurious house with the greatest view ever! But then we met Louise and her family who made our holiday even more fantastic. Nothing was too much for them. They brought us fresh fruit from the garden, really nice spumante, a typical italian dish called 'faro' (which is delicious)... We really felt like home!
Thank you Louise... It was great!
