Good Location in St. Remy

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this house for two months. The house is fairly large. Large and comfortable living room, very nice kitchen with an outdoor area attached. Upstairs, the master bedroom is very large with double closets and a large dresser. It overlooks the square. The guest room is small but overlooks the courtyard in the back and is very pretty. The one bathroom is small but adequate. If you need a cleaning lady, I recommend Murielle who lives two doors down. Overall, a nice, quiet house that is reasonably priced. While there has been some updating, it is a very old house, but was very clean when I arrived with a wonderful bottle of rose in the fridge. I hope to come back in the future.

The house was located in the centre of the ville which was perfect. The house was well appointed in an old worldy way.Good appliances and the outside courtyard added to our five o'clock drinks and nibbles. The bed was extremely comfortable which is important when undertaking daily exploration of the region. With a little effort the neighbours of the outside square proved to be friendly companions. The only comment is detailed instructions needed for the TV when looking for English channels.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time which was a fulfillment of a dream

Perfectly charming

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed in this comfortable house for ten days and found it ideal as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside. It was a bit like staying at your grandmother's house but with all modern conveniences. The little courtyard is a charming spot , the bed is comfortable, there is lots of storage, the full kitchen is perfect for cooking, there is a generous library of guide books and novels. There is a timeless atmosphere when you open the shutters onto the little tree lined square.

The owner was gracious and welcoming.

Charming House in Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this townhouse in the heart of Saint Remy for three weeks. The house is very clean and comfortable, with well-appointed rooms and all the items needed for a carefree and pleasant vacation. The enclosed terrace off the large eat-in kitchen provided a lovely second setting for meals at home. The house is very close to the main shopping of Saint Remy, yet on a quiet street facing a shady square. We parked in the square in front of the house for unloading and then used the free public parking located less than five minutes away for the rest of our stay. We received an warm welcome from the owner and very cordially met her again upon departure. She provided lots of information about local tourism and directed us to local shops. We would highly recommend this house to others and would definitely stay in it again ourselves.
