Idyllic, cosy and beautiful

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights as we went on a Cob building course in the area. The accommodation was beautiful, cosy and spotlessly clean. All little extras (that I always pack!!) hand wash, kitchen roll, cling film, were all available in the property, which is a first for any self catering property I've stayed in. Absolutely superb. Stunning views and great location. We wished we had been staying longer!!!

A perfect countryside location near Bridport

  • 5 of 5

Myself and my girlfriend spent 3 early December nights in the Ciderhouse, and we wished it was longer. Waking up to the glorious sound of the on farm Cockerel, you open up the curtains to lovely views over the countryside, which we especially enjoyed whilst enjoying a drink outside in the early evening as the sun went down, before going inside and getting toasty warm in front of the log burner!

Its a great location to quickly nip into Bridport, Beaminster and beyond to places such as Lyme Regis.

Our thanks to the hostess and host, Karen and Bill, whom were both very warm and friendly whilst also allowing us to do what we want to, and to the even more friendly farm cats and dogs! Definitely a home away from home.

Fabulous Cider Room!

  • 5 of 5

What a gem, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Cider Room. A very comfortable and cosy property, very well placed for exploring the area. The owner made us welcome and it was a lovely surprise to receive homemade cake , eggs and milk, most thoughtful. We would definitely recommend anyone staying here. Thank you.

Was perfect just what we were looking for.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely studio in a lovely quiet area. Dog friendly there was a large field outside with a mown track round it for the use of dogs. Karen had thought of everything extremely comfortable overall. All we need now is to book again for next year. Never been to West Dorset lots to see and do even though the weather was mixed. Great pubs for eating out and lots of walks although the beaches were shingle. All in all a most enjoyable stay.

Very cosy, with all the facilities we needed, lovely views. I missed not having wi fi but probably a good thing to be away from the internet for a while.
