Unpleasant stay in the Topparken
The cabin was either like a sauna or freezer, there was absolutely no temperature regulation. The WiFi was poor to nonexistent. The hot water turned off the one day and we had to find a maintenance guy on the property to come check what went wrong. He sorted it and it came back on luckily- one cold shower later. One needs a coin to throw away rubbish and you need to buy this coin... You also pay for towels and linen upfront on arrival. The linen I got looked like it had been chewed by mice as it had holes in it. One can do laundry at the general swimming pool area but it’s €2 for the washer and €4 for the drier but it didn’t dry my clothes so I still had to hang them up. There was no clothes line so I draped them over the furniture...
The boom / entrance stopped working the one day so everyone couldn’t drive in. The maintenance guy had to come fix it or open it for everyone to drive in and out freely. No one was aware of this and I had to go looking for him.
The cabin was filthy on arrival and after the cleaning team came for five mins. I’d put my feet on the bed and it would be covered in dirt. The neighbours were extremely loud and a motorbike woke me up each morning when I presume the man went to work. The reception area was closed when I left so I put the key in the silver box. I think airbnb is better value for money!!!
