The climate in Reebok is oceanic with mild to warm summers and mild to cool winters. It has the mildest climate in South Africa and the second mildest in the world, after Hawaii, according to the Guinness Book of Records. Temperatures rarely fall below 10°C in winter and rarely climb beyond 28°C in summer. Its weather is influenced by the Agulhas current of the Indian ocean to the south, and by the presence of the Outeniqua Mountains to the north. The average days of sunshine are 320 days per year.
Information about the area: Reebok is 12 minutes away from Mosselbay with historic sites, lovely beaches, surfing, diving, dining, wonderful views and Cape St Blaize. -Cape St Blaize Cave is situated directly under the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse, is the site of one of South Africa’s oldest archaeological excavations. The Garden Route has dramatic river cut gorges, beautiful beaches, rocky headlands and deep tangled forests - the quintessential Garden Route images. Stretching from Mossel Bay in the west, to Port Elizabeth in the east, this is a gorgeous stretch of coastal paradise strung features great hiking, with rambles ranging from an hour to a few days, covering rocky coasts, deep forests, pretty fynbos and long sandy beaches. The diving is good, as is the surfing, and there are some fun sea kayaking and flat water paddling trips. Some of the country's best mountain bike trails snake through the forests, and there are horse trails for every taste and level of ability. The GR is sandwiched between the mountains and the Indian ocean.
Ten nature reserves embrace the varied ecosystems of the area as well as unique marine reserves, home to soft coral reefs, dolphins and seals and a host of other marine life. Various bays along the Garden Route are nurseries to the endangered Southern Right Whale which come there to calve in the winter and spring (July to December).

Knysna: A visit to Knysna about one hour drive from Reebok to the East along the Garden Route makes a very enjoyable 'day trip'. Knysna is famous for its lagoon, oysters and over 800 year old iron and stinkwood trees. Lovely views, places to eat and a visit to 'The Heads' where the sea enters the lagoon.
You could also take the opportunity to have a wonderful Hot Air Balloon or Tandem Sky Diving experience over this region.
Had a wonderful week's holiday at this amazing home with spectacular views over the ocean. The house was clean and the outside area was well cared for. The accommodation was really very comfortable and a campcot was supplied which was most thoughtful. The swimming pool was an added bonus and had a safety net for added protection which was great as my 2 year old grand daughter spent so much time running around outside while we barbequed in the very nice built-in BBQ. The location of the house was just perfect for easy access to Knysna, Wilderness, Oudtshoorn and Mossel Bay. The men in our party had some very enjoyable games of golf in both George and Mossel Bay and we all had great visits to the nearby Botlierskop Game Reserve, the Cango caves, the Crocodile farm, the Ostrich farm and Knysna Heads. I wish we had more time to spend in this wonderful home and know that anybody else staying here will have a really memorable holiday. Thank you for the use of your beautiful home.
Very nice house for a family holiday: good standard, beautiful view to the sea, nice neighbourhood. We loved the pool, the braai, the view to the sea and walks on the beach. The caretaker was so helpful with everything - thank you!
Lovely house. This beautiful house has everything you need for a fun and relaxing holiday. Fully furnished and well equipped to make your stay in the beautiful Southern Cape an unforgettable experience. It offers a private swimming pool and we enjoyed whale and dolphin watching from the 2nd floor patio. Walking distance to a very nice beach. It's central location offers you the opportunity to explore the Garden Route or so many other attractions the area has to offer. We enjoyed visiting the Cango Caves, an Ostrich Farm and many more day trips, within easy driving distance. This secure beach house have ample living space for 6 people. The two upstairs bedrooms offers some privacy from the rest of the house with a separate living area and sharing bathroom. The Master Bedroom has a great en-suite bathroom with a very nice, big bathtub and also a shower. This is a perfect holiday house for a family, and also have a baby bed/crib, if needed. We enjoyed our week long stay there and wish we could have stayed longer. The friendly neighbors were always close by to offer advise or help when needed. Many thanks.
