What makes this Condo unique
This Lake Superior Gull Harbor condo is situated on a unique section of the shoreline. While it's perched up to offer panoramic views, the access to the water's edge is easily accessible. The private cove and cobblestone beach could keep you busy for days if you like to rock hunt. Bring your beach towel/blanket, your book, your food/beverage and hang out there all day!

Peaceful Shore get away.
This is a very quiet wonderful place to relax and hang out, no matter the weather!!! It is close to wonderful places to eat and shop. It also is a great place to get out on the trails and or skiing.
Gorgeous Condo, Be Aware of Extra Charges
If you are looking for a place with amazing views of Lake Superior, this is the place. 3 balconies offer 3 different views of the lake, rocks, and cliffs. Lake access is also available as well as a fire pit and charcoal grill. If you are an early riser you can also see the sunrise over the lake from 2 of the balconies. The condo was very comfortable for our group of 5 adults, but be aware that although the listing says that the condo accommodates 6 people, there is an additional $25 a night fee if you have more than 4 adults. All the fees are not listed up front on the website, and although the condo is listed as $280 a night, it actually cost us $433 a night. That said we really loved the condo and the views. The condo was also very clean.
We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the condo and the views were amazing!
Great property!!! Good location. Look for Gull Harbor Rentals sign on 61 a couple miles north of Holiday gas station in Tofte and turn off there.
Beautiful spot on the north shore
Despite a little glitch on the communication with Linda, the manager (which may have been my fault - I could not find the original email giving access information which Linda sent a few weeks before our arrival date). Once we arrived, we loved the place. Although a little small for 5 people (dining table had only 4 chairs), it was clean, well stocked and comfortable. There was a great view of the lake and rocky cliffs, a nice little cove with good rock hunting and a fire ring and weber kettle barbeque. We did not use the sauna but it also seemed quite clean and nice.
One of the rare times the sequel lives up to the orginal!!!
This is our second visit to Sunrise and Serenity and it was at the request of our 15 and 17 year old sons. We stayed here in August of last year and when we asked the boys where they would like to go on a long weekend both wanted to go back to Sunrise and Serenity. Such a great place to relax and unwind from our normal run and rush life. They guys spent one day golfing at Superior National while the dog and I hung out by the lake with a good book. The second day we took a trip up to Grand Marais to skip rocks and get some frozen custard from Sydney's - this has become a yearly tradition - so delicious!!
Sunrise & Serenity has everything you need including beautiful views from every window. So even if the weather isn't great, you can still relax inside watching and listening to the soothing waves of Lake Superior.
I am hoping the boys will want to make this an annual trip for many years to come!!
Situated between Tofte, Lutsen and Grand Marais, Gull Harbor rests on an absolutely gorgeous stretch of Lake Superior shoreline. It's a smaller building that cannot be seen from the highway so it's very private and quiet. Approximately 90 miles north/northeast of Duluth and just 1-5 miles away from restaurants/bars, groceries, Superior Hiking Trail trailheads and the Gitche-Gami State Bike Trail is right outside the building. The Lutsen Ski Resort and Superior National Golf Course are just a few miles away if you are coming up to enjoy either of those activities. "The Coolest Small Town in America", Grand Marais, is just a 25 minute drive away and offers so many things to do along with some incredible dining experiences.
