This home is called Casa Zuras to the 'nuraghe' Zuras, located a few hundred meters away. A nuraghe is a pyramidal structure that recalls the first inhabitants of the island and is 3,000 to 4,000 years old.
The house has a spacious living room with open kitchen, 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lovely veranda and a huge garden with large pool. Living room and all bedrooms have air conditioning and heating.
The house has a cottage-like appearance: everything is on the ground floor, the walls are plastered, two chimneys, red classic roof tiles and all in the shadow of a huge, ancient cork oak.
The private swimming pool (5 x 10 meters, open from 1 April to 31 October) is located right next to the house and is kept clean by the gardener.
The house has a very large garden of approximately 8. 000 m2, so plenty of space to play, sit in the sun or shade, enjoy the approximately 15 different types of fruit trees in the orchard etc.
Numerous restaurants, supermarkets and shops can be found in the surrounding area. But also many historical remnants from the Nuragic people, Phoenicians, Romans, Moors and Spaniards.
The nearest beach is about 35 kilometers away.
Abbasanta is located in the quiet, unexplored center of Sardinia, far away from the hustle and bustle in the North. An additional advantage: this part of the island is certainly as beautiful as the North and the prices are much lower.
The three airports of Cagliari, Olbia and Alghero are all 1 to 1.5 hours away, easily on the motorway. So you can always check where the tickets and car hire are best; in terms of driving time to the cottage that makes very little difference. Ideal!
Use of gas, barbecue, washing machine, books / cards, bed linen and towels is included.
In the house there is a folder with extensive information about the house, the surroundings, information about nature, culture, history, etc.
We are always happy to give more information about the house, the surroundings, the flight, car rental, etc. etc.
There is no Wi-Fi because the cable connection in central Sardinia is virtually impossible. However, there is good internet coverage and roaming luckily no longer costs money.
Have fun in Casa Zuras and discover Sardinia, the jewel in the Mediterranean.
