Our home features:
We have a beautiful gourmet kitchen with double stacked kitchen cabinets with all the gadgets, marble and soapstone countertops, 36" duel fuel range oven, a beautiful home theater, which has theater style seating and an 80" flat screen complete with surround sound speakers to create a personalized home movie theater. The house also has 25 speakers spread throughout the house for your enjoyment with the ability to connect Spotify, iTunes, apple play or pandora.
There is one bedroom downstairs - this room has 1 twin over full bunk bed with full size trundle bed. The second floor features the master bedroom (its own private wing), which has a king bed, private bathroom with claw foot tub and private shower with body sprays. There are also 2 guest rooms upstairs that have queen sized beds. All rooms upstairs have flat screen tvs with DirecTV. Full sized laundry room for your convenience also on the 2nd floor. We also have 2 queen and 1 twin air beds to fit in other bedrooms or the common areas - it's your choice...please just let us know upon booking if you will need these as they are locked up in the owners closet. If you require baby essentials, please inform us so we can make arrangements with the housekeeper to have everything set up for your arrival.
The backyard has an outdoor kitchen with plenty of seating, built in grill, cooktop and a flat screen tv for relaxing evenings or daytime gatherings. The side yard has antique red brick pavers!
Safety is always 1st for us so we have provided you (our guests) use of the home alarm security system while you're staying at our home. We also have several outdoor security cameras placed throughout the back, side and front entrances. There is also OFF STREET PARKING with gated access.
We also have a Pac-n-Play, baby bath tub, baby bath, highchair, children's dinnerware, utensils, sippy cups, toys and games for babies/children. We also have games for all ages in the cabinet in the theater! Please let us know if you will need these items for your trip is we can have things set up for you.
Franco's Fitness is right around the corner on Magazine Street. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance including 3 coffee shops! District Donuts, Steins Deli, Juan's Flying Burrito, Maya's, Down the Hatch and the Tasting Room are all within a block! Public transportation buses and the streetcar lines are just up the street on St. Charles Ave and Uber/Lyft are easily accessible.

A bit about us: we both were born and raised in New Orleans. New Orleanians embrace the term “Southern Hospitality.” New Orleans is a tourist/hospitality based economy, which is rich in southern culture; from the food, the history, the architecture, and most importantly, the people. Chris is a Real Estate Developer and Home Builder and he loves what he does! He loves to take old historic homes and bringing them back to life. And Ashley loves to manage, decorate these homes and mostly, communicate with our guests and making their stay as enjoyable as possible. The vacation rental business gives us the opportunity to share our home with not only locals in New Orleans but people around the world. New Orleans has some of the oldest homes in the country and there is a lot of history in each house! We look forward to sharing this history with our guests. When we’re not working, we enjoy the outdoors, traveling the world, spending time with our Golden Retriever, Amber and family and friends. Louisiana is known as “the Sportsman’s Paradise.” Chris loves to hunt and fish as well! We both are sports junkies. Chris is a HUGE LSU fan and funny thing…Ashley is a Bama fan…so house divided here! We both love Saints football as well! We both love to entertain and we firmly believe by doing this, it provides a great opportunity to provide the best travel experience for our guests so much that we decided to share our home with our guests..that right there is Southern Hospitality at its finest!
Why Owner chose Lower Garden District
Location Location Location! Even though the location was top on the list of why I purchased this home it was not the only reason. This home was built Pre-Civil War and it provided the opportunity for me to bring this property back to life! Unlike most short term rentals this home was designed for someone to live in and not just for rental! Alot of personal detail went into the design. Its the perfect blend of new and old.

Great Place and Location!
So if you are looking for perfect, this place is darn close! We could not ask for more/better amenities, comfort or location. This house has everything one would want to stay for a day or a lifetime. Comfort came in the way of atmosphere, taste in furniture & bedding, climate control, washer&dryer, etc. All top notch. For a family, group of friends, couples, great choice. Location was safe and walking distance to Magazine St. If we were to want for anything, a bit more water pressure and a remote for the Master TV (could not locate) would be nice, however, not imperative. Thanks for a great stay and we will be back!
Lower Garden District Home of Excellence
This Lower Garden District home is the perfect spot for entertaining. Being from NOLA, this is a wonderful home with many amenities in the heart of the lower Graden District. Easy access and walking distance to Magazine. Close to French Quarter.We were so fortunate to find this hidden gem! Perfect in every way! Thank Ashley and Chris for allowing us to use your home for our sons wedding! You are the best!

Very nice house in a great location
you couldn't ask for a more attentive host. The house is very well maintained and the neighborhood is perfect. 1-block off the heart of Magazine and not far from St Charles street car.
Girls Weekend Away
The house was so beautiful! It is a wonderful house for a gathering with friends. There is a nice outdoor kitchen and seating area. House is located in a great area as well.
Exceeded my expectations!
First off, leading up to my stay I was in contact with the owner Ashley. She was so incredibly flexible, accommodating, informational and was willing to help in any way she could. Not only that, she would respond right away to any questions I had. When we arrived at the house we were speechless, the pictures don't even do it justice! It's beautiful and so big! It gave the NOLA feel that we were hoping for. It's also in a great location with being in walking distance to Magazine st for shopping or dining. If you are willing to walk a little further, you can even get to the trolley which will take you to the different quarters. I highly recommend renting this home if you want an overall amazing experience. Thank you again so much for everything Ashley and Chris, we are all so appreciative!
