Quality of equipment: 3D TV / LED Samsung (152 cm) with USB port for your movies compatible for your portable Samsung Galaxy (photos and videos of the moment), DVD player, internet, washing machine clothes and dishes, two refrigerators including an American with freezer, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, Weber BBQ for your grill ...
The photos of this property tell the truth! One or two little changes have been made - but not that you would notice! The chairs under the umbrella are a delight to sit in and while away the time enjoying the view - which is also stunning at night!
The pool is that blue and to sit on the sofa and look out on it is a delight. The family all swam in it - I am more of a paddler and would sit on the steps at one end several times a day enjoying the water!
The out door BBQ is gas and is fantastic. The kitchen in well appointed, I loved the American fridge and its ice maker, we all used it regularly!
The electronic toys are good - we are British and like Radio 2 (and Popmaster) we could play the radio via our iPads through the TV 'thing' - in surround sound! We watched the World Cup with French commentary - I don't understand football so it made no difference! I tend to take a stash of DVDs to watch in the evenings when away and this was a great TV for viewing!
The beds are really comfortable, we all slept really well! The bathrooms and showers are really well appointed too! The showers are outstanding and the basins are great! Photos would not do them justice.
I cannot fault the place - and would really recommend it to anyone!
This is a very residential area of Hyeres, it is quiet, not at all touristy. Great! There are however a lot of watersports available locally and some outstanding walking and great beaches. The Island of Pourquorolles is well worth a visit as is Toulon! There the view from Mont Faron (take the cable car) is well worth a visit and the restaurant beside the cable car at the top we would recommend. Toulon is great naval port, great history, great atmosphere, well worth a visit
Things to know! To get great views you have to be up a hill! You are 0.7 miles from the nearest Intermarche - and it is all uphill on the way home! However French bread for breakfast is worth it and I only took the car down on 2 of the 14 mornings we were there when I had a lot to get! The exercise was my excuse to enjoy the food while we were there!
Do not try and find this villa on 2009 Google Street view - it has been dramatically remodelled since then, use it if you must to find the location, but not as a guide! That would be very unfair on the owner!
The owner is extremely supportive via email when making the booking, we had no problems with any part of the booking/renting process.
Enjoy your visit to Hyeres stroll the streets of the old town steeped in history and villages secrets. Do not forget to take the boat and go to the Golden Isles: Porquerolles for complete relaxation and Port Cros National Park and the wild beauty of its nature.
