                      Recent El Cuyo Reviews

                      Wonderful Vacation in Mexico!!!

This place is in a very small fishing town. Very chill vibe in town. The house is GREAT!! Location is wonderful, the beach comes to the patio. We walked the beach every day, for hours, and never encountered more than a few people per day. The care takers are absolutely fantastic!!! They have all of the local knowledge you could ever ask for!! It is mandatory to have some Spanish speaking skills or a really good translation app.

Everything was as described. I would do this trip again.I would note that it is very important to buy food staples before arriving. Also if you were thinking of alcohol, there is none to be had in El Cuyo.Christian made us wonderful dinners. Magally was so sweet.

A great place to stay. I'd come back.

The apartments were very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. There was a nice pool and many terraces with seating and shade. It was cool in the compound even when it was hot out. It was close to the beach at the ocean too. It was a bit out of main area of Holbox. We had no problem walking over to the plaza area along the beach. You can get a golf cart taxi if you wish. They can get through the streets which aren't paved and can fill with water in places when the periodic thunder storms pass through. We would definitely come back to this spot. We enjoy the having a quiet and welcoming place to come back to rather than to be in the lively plaza area.
