Cute cottage in a great location.

4 of 5
The cottage is cute and historic and came with so many conveniences near downtown and groceries. Loved having the private deck and fenced back yard. My only suggestion would be that the perimeter be sprayed for pests before we arrived. We had a mishap of the plugged up plumbing, but the owner came to our rescue right away and was there half the night trying to get it resolved. She was there again the next morning to finish the job. I'm sure it was as inconvenient for her as it was for us - but she was very pleasant and thorough - she's now our heroin. They determined that it might have been tree roots causing the problem - not something anyone can predict - certainly caused some anxiety at the time, but fixed now We were able to spend a day just browsing the fun downtown Cody and "of course" during the week had to try several of the nearby amazing restaurants - Buffalo Bill's The Irma, Granny's, and Cassie's Supper Club were just a few. It was perfect for our stay since it was so close to Yellowstone and centrally located to many of the other nearby historic towns and scenic areas. We had a wonderful, memorable stay.

Rustler's Roost Guest House was just as described and just what we wanted.

5 of 5
Rustler's Roost Guest House was perfect. It was clean and private. We could hear the river flowing. The Autumn colors were in full bloom. My husband caught and released many fish from the Shoshone River while we were there. I wanted a quiet, peaceful place to read and relax. This is it. We had our dog there and she was comfortable too. Short trip into town of Cody. Everything you need is there. We are planning to go back and would also highly recommend Rustler's Roost Guest House to everybody. Cozy cabin

4 of 5
Conveniently situated in downtown Cody within walking distance to restaurants, the river walk, stores and the Bill Cody Museum. The "cabin" was wonderfully stocked with all the necessary supplies - soap, paper towels, laundry soap, etc. and Kim even brought us over some coffee for our first morning. The only items missing were charcoal for the grill and wood for the outdoor fire pit. Since we spent most of our time site seeing in Yellowstone, the museum and other side road trips these last two weren't really missed. The cabin was very clean and neat upon our arrival, had a wonderful side deck to relax and read and Kim left us with reams of information on restaurants, sites, road trips and other interesting attractions. The only downside was the traffic noise from one of the main streets leading into town.
