            Peaceful and quiet

            4 of 5
Like any property there is pros and cons. The house is much bigger then it looks in the pictures! There is a golf course and pool to use but it is driving or golf cart distance. It is a bit of a walk. I do suggest finding the house during the day because it gets really dark around the propert at night. You can see tons of stars from the upper deck. It was quiet and very relaxing. The cons were:The house did have a golf cart but there was not a key available. It says newly renovated but the house could use a coat of paint and the wall paper was peeling in the bathroom. Not a big deal. The stairs are not an issue it's your typical spiral stair case. Kind of a pain to carry luggage up it is a tight squeeze to carry up luggage and get your body to fit. I'm quite skinny, it sucked but that was the worst of the trip. One thing that did bother me was the neighbors next door park on your side of the property in the grass. It made me nervous having them park there and i felt It was inconsiderate of them to do so. I was told if you have more then 2 cars to park at the club house. I felt like I had to watch where I parked and found myself feeling like I was bothering them if I blocked them in. In my opinion it was just rude but that's me. The only thing that would of been nicer is just a bit more communication from the owner. They ask to send a message when you leave, which I did but a response back would of been nice like hey thanks for renting or say really anything back. Other then that it was perfect. Thank you for renting to us, your house was beautiful

            Perfect for my big family!

My family is from the midwest, and I live in San Francisco with my husband and four children. I wanted to have my children get to know their cousins (whom they barely see) that live in Chicago, so I booked this vacation home for our fall family celebration. This house was ideal for us. While the grown ups were relaxing on the pier, watching the swans swim by (never seen a family of swans before), the kids would be fishing, swimming, swinging in the swings, or jumping on the huge water trampoline in front of us. The huge deck with a great view, was a wonderful place to have our cook outs even with a fire in a firepit. The place looks nice on the website, but when we first arrived, I was blown away by how clean, greatly decorated and well accommodated for the house was. This house is a true deam lake home. Our kids loved the kids room, it gave the cousins a chance to spend a lot of time together. The early fall was lovely and now we plan to return during winter to ice skate on the lake. Thank you so much for giving my family a chance at a beautiful and affordable vacation.
