Our deepest thanks to the gracious owner, Wendy, for a wonderful girls weekend! The house was very charming with plenty of views of quaint Lake Como! The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were impeccably clean. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets, cozy blankets and thick lush pillows. The house provided everything you could think of except hair dryers, which was no big deal. There are plenty of paper products and towels available. We made dinner in one night and there were plenty of dishes, glasses, silver ware and serving pieces too. The home includes a nice bar with plenty of bar ware. Jigsaw puzzles and several fun games are a bonus too. The home is next to a wonderful classic supper club called Mars. It has a famously delicious fish fry as well as other delicious food options and live music on the weekends. The owner said that people fly in on their seaplanes from all over in the summer just to go to this restaurant. For us, walking across the yard was a great option because we didn't have to worry about indulging a little and then driving! Since this was a ladies weekend, we of course, wanted some fun shopping. A five minute drive into downtown Lake Geneva proved to supply some of the best clothing and specialty items shopping we have seen in a long time. We came from the Milwaukee area which has its share of great shopping, but not nearly the charming small business boutique shopping we found a mere 40 min drive away in downtown Lake Geneva! We would love to return again because we know we only scratched the surface of this fun, beautiful area! Summers must be incredibly beautiful on this very friendly lake get away too!

Good layout. Awesome deck. Perfect location near the lake.

            Great place for large groups

Our family of 12 stayed at Heritage House this summer. The owner, John, was easy to work with and the house was great - photos don't do it justice. We found the place VERY CLEAN and well stocked. Perfect for extended family, each smaller group had their own apartment and could congregate in the lower level. 10 minute walk to the lake and the few restaurants in Fontana. Only watch out would be that the stairs to the upper apartments are open and we had to be careful with our small children. On the other hand, there were multiple playgrounds within walking distance! Hope to stay again next year.
