The ONLY way to stay when visiting WV!

      5 of 5
We were a group of fireman that came for a weekend get away white water rafting. The Erskine is the only way we will go for now on. It was perfect to accommodate all of us guys and have plenty of enough room to never feel cramped. The house is broken up nice so we could play cards in one room, sit in the hot tub, hang out in the kitchen, watch tv or just play catch outside. The house itself is gorgeous and provided all of the essentials we needed to live there so we didn't have to pack too much. There is a laundry room which worked out perfect for all of our wet clothes after rafting. We will definitely be back again. I would recommend this house for families or groups of all sizes.

      Fabulous Lake View!

      5 of 5
We stayed at the log cabin for a weekend. It is located right at Alpine Lake, and the view was undeniably breathtaking. We spent hours and hours just admiring the spectacular view. From sunrise to sunset, the water was glistening in the sunlight. We saw the color of water changes as the sun moves from East to West. We were able to see the lake from anywhere in the cabin: in the kitchen while cooking, on the deck while in hot cedar bath, by the fire pit while roasting marshmallows, and from the loft area looking down the living room… and the lake. That was an extraordinary experience and amazing treat for us. This is a great place for family bonding. It is secluded from outside world, and it created time for us to cherish each other. There were many complimentary accommodations (e.g. family-friendly board games, DVD collections, massage chair which kids loved so much, etc.) to keep us entertained during our stay. We also packed lunch to hike up the trail to top of the ski slope. We had a lunch there in a little gazebo with the best lake view. It was a great weekend getaway for our family. We will come back!
