        Lovely and Well Maintained

        5 of 5
Me, my mother, sister and our 3 kids spent 2 nights at this lovely apartment when we were in the area for the Pony Swim in Chincoteague. It is in a great location - in the middle of quaint Wachapreague - and fit all of us comfortably. We were very happy we found a place that could fit all 6 of us and was cheaper than getting 2 rooms at a hotel. The apartment is bright, clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a nice stay. The only semi-negative would be that it is cooled by 3 window AC units (1 in the living room, 1 in each bedroom), which had a little trouble keeping up with the extreme heat during the day in the living area(super hot days outside), but at night we were plenty comfortable in the bedrooms. Overall, this is a great apartment, in a really cute/quaint location and I wish we would have had more time to spend in the area. I will definitely consider returning on future vacations in the area - such a cute apartment in the "Little City by the Sea". Thanks Bob! We really enjoyed it!!

        What wonderful views

        5 of 5
The best way to describe this property is breathtaking. From the moment we arrived the owner made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The house was well maintained and immaculately clean with all the amenities that one needs. The design and layout is centered around the magnificent views of nature including breathtaking views of the ocean. We felt completely relaxed during our stay and spent a majority of our time sitting in the covered porch area while reading a book, having dinner for two, or just enjoying a cup of morning coffee. If you are into bird watching; Shorebirds, Tree Swallows, Barn Swallows and Purple Martins are all over/near the property. Although we did not take the owners up on a boat ride to barrier islands, the sounds of the surf can be heard from the upper balcony house during the evening hours. Recommend that you take a nice 30-minute drive to Chincoteague Island and have some of the best ice cream I have ever had at the Island Creamery. It was defiantly worth the drive. The best things about staying at this property are the view, secluded property location, and the morning sunrise viewed from the eastern facing bedrooms. I cannot wait until the next trip to this property.
