Unbelievable. Everything we could have asked for.

Was blown away the second we stepped inside. Couldn't have asked for more. Already planning our next stay.

              Lovely hideaway

              5 of 5
A terrific spot right on Peacham Pond. We loved the spacious newly constructed log cabin that easily slept our crowd (two families - 3 adults, 3 kids). The big open living room/kitchen with the fabulous fireplace was the biggest hit (we were there the first weekend of November which was gray and chilly). The kitchen is well stocked, we cooked many a fine meal and had everything we needed (ok, the peeler could use replacing...but what a small nit!!). The perfect spot for a hideaway. The house looks out on Peacham Pond which is beautiful and placid. A great area for walking (making sure don the brightly colored outerwear during hunting season (plenty of spares available to borrow). Nice firepit outside well-suited to s'mores making and tale telling. The owners are delightful. Anthea sent a number of pre-arrival emails with directions and suggestions and was very responsive when I called needing to locate a replacement battery for a smoke detector (answer: spare batteries in a basket atop the fridge).
