              Exceeded Expectations!

              5 of 5
In a nutshell: This home is absolutely beautiful and the owners were easy to get in touch with - and responded very quickly. About our trip: This was a multi-family vacation with friends, a total of 14: 7 adults and 7 kids, ages 16-months to 6 years old. The size of this home is very accommodating to large groups and there are so many areas to explore. Our kids loved running around all over, up and down the stairs, the playroom in the main living room, reading books by the gas fireplace after hiking/skiing/sledding, the first floor game room, and especially the secret room. Bonus features we loved: fenced in yard, hot tub, heated floors in the mudroom, the stained glass window, and hiking trails a short distance from the house. We all agreed this is the perfect spot for us - and we'll be coming back. Thank you, Kris and Ben for opening your beautiful home to us! We hope to see you again next year :)

              Excellent stay, beautiful cabin.

We fully enjoyed our stay at the Upper Pines Lodge. The cabin is unique, stunning and perfectly located very close to Lincol Peak/Sugarbush. All as advertised and more. We stayed with another family (4 adults, 5 young boys). Plenty of room for all, with a room to spare. The media room was a great gathering spot for the kids to watch movies etc., while the adults enjoyed time around the fire in the comfortable living/family room. We would stay again, and have no reservations recommending Upper Pines Lodge for a stay in the Mad River Valley any time of year.
