                    Recent Lake Elmore Reviews

                    Outstanding!

                    5 of 5
Everything about this home is simply, outstanding! Originally, we'd hoped to share our vacation stay with another family but...it wound up being my husband and me. So, the home is well-suited for many more but it was also generously comfortable for the two of us. The view of Elmore mountain and the lake is lovely; just lovely. The location of the home suggests a great deal of privacy. Where other homes may abut one another along the lake, Bruce and Lucille's retains quite a bit of privacy. The grounds are beautiful and the stone steps leading to the dock are works of masonry art. Personally, I loved the floor plan, the decor, and the more substantial elements to the home design but I realize we're not on a tour to buy a home but to stay in one for a brief period of time (all too brief, if I may add). Nonetheless, I cannot overstate the loveliness of this home. The Camp Road is peacefully walkable (even with new house construction underway) with friendly encounters along the way. An easy walk to The Elmore Store, which does a nice job of providing necessities as well as a venue for local, fresh foods, bakery, pizza (Elmore Fire Tower Pizza), made-to-order sandwiches and a fine selection of beer. Kathy and Warren Miller have done a remarkable job with the Store. This location for my husband and me was ideal. Friends and family in Morrisville were only a stone's throw away. Access to the State Park gave us a chance to reacquaint ourselves with the trail up the mountain (word of advice -- don't follow the Catamount X country ski markers ;-) ). Everything is well-provided in this home. Everything! And everything is in tip-top condition. We lacked for nothing; we wanted for nothing. Did I say "perfect" yet? If Bruce and Lucille continue to permit others to share their home, I shall certainly plan to return again. Can't wait! [I'm missing the mountain/lake view alongside my morning coffee.]

                    Summer Peace

                    5 of 5
This was our second year on Lake Elmore and we enjoyed every minute. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place and this home was the perfect place to enjoy it all. The house is very clean and has many extras to help make your stay be comfortable. Hope to return next summer.

Christmas at the Lake Elmore House

                    5 of 5
My family and I spent this past Christmas week at the Elmore Lake House and we were so happy with the house that I wanted to write a review. The house exceeded my expectations in terms of decor and quality of everything. The kitchen had everything! We made dinner every night and there were pots and pans and bowls and knives and just anything you would ever need, along with full sets of plates and glasses, etc. We were also well-equipped with activities. We went hiking, skiing, sledding and also had a spa-day, so there was plenty to do in the area. The owners were very sweet & thoughtful and really bent over backwards to make sure that our stay was pleasant. I would highly recommend this house!
