We had an awesome stay at this beautiful cottage!

This cottage is right on the water on this beautiful Lake Memphremagog. We had a fabulous time at this property! We thoroughly enjoyed the views and watching the Loons right the deck every night. The fishing was memorable with everyone in the family catching nice big smallmouth bass and a couple of sizable northern pike. The smallmouth fishing is worth coming back for for me! One we caught went over 6lbs!! Catching that monster was a treat! The cottage is also situated so that day trips to Montreal and Stowe were easily done in a day. There were several places we didn't get too that will make going back an easy choice. We will look forward to it!! Thanks for a great week!

                            Outstanding Value

                            5 of 5
My wife and I have spent about a dozen Summers going to Memphremagog to a cottage we owned and enjoyed. Knowing the area well we wanted to be on the lake and the bike trail in a comfortable location. The cottage was exactly as portrayed and very clean with all systems working fine. The location on the bike trail is great and there is easy access to to Newport by bike. The dock is excellent and there is a fine sitting area to enjoy a spectacular view. I hope to return in the future and will stay here. It was a great value and met all our expectations. My only difficulty was trying to learn the Comcast cable menu, but I was able to get the news and could have watched my Directv on my ipad using the wifi. Another plus for the cottage is that it is far from a busy road which means it is quiet and relaxing.

Can we give 6-stars? Better than the best.

We loved the tranquil seclusion of this cabin in the woods. Our family of four needed a break from the urban life and a bit of yankee hospitality. This cabin was more than we could have ever expected. The deck is amazing so much so we enjoyed all of our meals outdoors soaking up the view, the sounds, and the fresh air. The surrounding woods hide the cabin from the passing world. Your next neighbor on the shoreline is the Canadian border patrol dock. The fishing was non-stop and my children had to be told to stop and come in after dark. The cabin had all we needed, small kitchen, a modest bathroom, sitting room with a large bed, and a loft for the children. We didn't use the TVs...why would you? So the review about it not working was a good thing for us. A fabulous place to unplug and connect to your favorite people. The hill down to the water was steep but short and forced you to slow things down. The beach was small but cozy and just enough. My working dog could be a free-range dog and he loved it as much as we did.
