An amazing cabin with so many perks!!!

                        5 of 5
This was our second time renting Wildcat Cabin; our first was a few years back. We could not wait to come back, as we had such a wonderful experience the first time. The second time around exceeded my expectation as well! My entire family was excited to come back to the cabin, as we knew what to expect and how comfortable it is. My family of 4 stayed the entire week, and half of our family (husband's parents, brother, sister-in-law, and nephew) came for the first 3 days, while the other half (my parents and my aunt) came for the last 3 days. There was plenty of room for everyone, and all were comfortable in their chosen rooms. The kids loved the bunk beds in the basement and were nice and cool and happy the entire trip. During this trip, we took full advantage of swimming in the lake and canoeing/kayaking in it as well. We also hiked up Black Mountain, which you can see as one of the peaks in the cabin's photo. It was an amazing hike, challenging but doable for our 6 and 8 year old girls. We could even see the cabin from the summit! The lifeguards at the lake recommended this and other attractions, namely Polly's Pancake Parlor, and we took advantage. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, including the other residents in the area who frequented the beach. As with our trip last time, Scott was an amazing host. He checked in on us in advance of the trip and on day 1 at the cabin. The cabin was clean and orderly, and it was well-stocked with cleaning supplies and firewood. It had just about everything we could possibly need. I would highly recommend this cabin rental to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation to NH. I personally cannot wait to rent it again in the coming years!

                        Rural place, quiet stay

                        4 of 5
We stayed at the Blyes Cabin for 2 days on a long weekend. The Cabin was located right in the woods so it was very quiet and fresh. It was a little difficult for us to find but our family embers found it much quicker, since they took a bit different route. The cabin was very spacious and had everything we needed. It was located fairly close to nice areas to see. But sometimes was hard to find due to no GPS signal, so do your homework before you get there or call the LL, he was great help at navigating us. At night we grilled and made s'mores outside, the stars and the views were magnificent, so you really get that outdoorsy and close to nature feel. One downside, assuming that no one lives there on a full time basis the place was a little dirty and smelled like mold. We cleaned the place a little ourselves to be able stay there but the moldy smell followed us home... Overall, we had a great stay, the location was nice, place was spacious and well equipped and had things to do around.

                        Super cute and cozy!

                        5 of 5
My fiance and I loved this little cabin. It was homey, spacious (for the two of us), comfortable and warm. I highly recommend visiting if you love to truly get away from it all and spend some quality quiet time with your family or a few friends. There was a nice wood stove, an outdoor firepit (both with plenty of wood), and small boats available to use in the lake (we didn't because we found we were out and about more than we thought we would be). There was also lots of storage space (two big closets and a dresser) as well as dishes, pans, silverware, and anything you may need to cook a meal (including a grill and charcoal)! Another fun aspect of the trip was that we even heard some animals scurrying about outdoors, including a hooting owl! There was a shelf of books to read as well as many brochures/pamphlets for things to do while on vacation. No cable TV (we don't have it at home either, so that didn't bother us) so we brought some DVDs to watch at night before bed. The only qualm we had was that neither of us had cell phone service at the cabin (Verizon and Sprint) which may be a problem for some. Other than that, we had a wonderful time enjoying the quiet and will surely be back in the future!
