We stayed in the cabin so we would have a little extra space compared to a hotel room (we shared the first night with another family). The cabin was more on the rustic side but had all the amenities you'd need. Be aware that you'll need your own sheets, pillow cases, and towels. The view of the small lake was lovely. Rose was very attentive: when the pipes froze due to very cold weather (don't worry, this wouldn't happen often!), she made the drive to fix them right away and we ended up not being inconvenienced at all. Although we came mostly just to relax, you'd have plenty to do if you wanted to snowmobile, and you can probably justify driving to Killington for a day of skiing.
