Great place for a London stay

5 of 5
We stayed here in November for six nights and the house was perfect for what we needed (2 adults and 2 young kids suffering from severe jet lag!). It's a clean, comfortable, proper 3 bed house (don't be fooled by the listing that say they are 3 bedrooms when 2 of those "bedrooms" are actually the living room and the dining room) with an eat in kitchen and great sized living room/dining room that has enough space for bigger groups. It's a 10 min walk (well, 15 min with a 4 year old) to Queens Park tube station, which gets you into central London quickly. We're ex Londoners but have never spent much in Queens Park so it was really nice to explore the area a bit - lovely little shops on the high street and a great playground for the kids at Queens Park itself. For tourists, it might not have quite the central location for walking to the main attractions, but neither does it have the price tag - plus, you'll get a bit more of a feel for the real London. Jane was prompt with communication and was also helpful in supplying us with a small bag of toys. The only thing that would've made it better for us would've been a bath for the kids - but we knew it didn't have one when we booked so that can't be used as a criticism. We'll definitely stay again.
