FANTASTIC LOCATION !!! The Townhome is a very short 2-3 minute walk to the South Kensington Underground Subway Station. There are several lines that go through South Kensington so it is super easy to get anywhere in London from this location. It was minutes to Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Kensington Palace, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park, Covent Garden and other well-known sites and it was an easy and inexpensive commute from and to Heathrow Airport. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and appeared safe and secure. There are lots of excellent restaurants close by, as well as shopping. Right across from the South Kensington Underground Station there is a Pret a Manger where you can get fresh, quick, nutritious take out food. Right next to the Station is a restaurant called "Muriel's" that serves an excellent traditional English Breakfast. There are several excellent restaurants within minutes of the townhome. We liked the Indian food at "Light of India" and had a wonderful meal with great view at "The Babylon Gardens" Roof Top Restaurant in Kensington. Had easy access to Covent Garden Restaurants using the Underground, as well as an enjoyable night at the Adelphi Theatre seeing "Kinky Boots" which we highly recommend. CLEAN, SPACIOUS TOWN HOME !!! The townhome is clean, bright and well-equipped. I am a Senior American Executive who was traveling with my wife and three 16 year old Triplets and the townhome worked extremely well for us. Our two girls slept together in one bedroom and our son was in his own bedroom. We had a lovely Master Bedroom with a huge amount of storage. We slept well since the home was quiet. The air conditioning worked well as did the Wi-Fi and the kitchen was well equipped. GRACIOUS OWNER !!! One of the big surprises was the hospitality of our hosts, Neville and Sonia, who live downstairs from the townhome. When we arrived, they had a bottle of Rose Wine, some tasty cheese and crackers, and a bowl of fruit including grapes, apricots, bananas and apples waiting for us. After traveling all night and arriving 2 hours late because of a delayed flight, we were exhausted so we really enjoyed the complimentary "Happy Hour" with Wine, Cheese and Fruit, courtesy of Neville and Sonia. Because our flight was delayed and we arrived late, they were also kind enough to equip the kitchen with some milk, orange juice, butter, great whole grain bread for toast and some cereal so we had enough to make a breakfast the next morning.
