My wife and I booked a week at Tropical garden bungalow on Koa Lanta. It is important that they change the name on this site to the actual resort name which is Lanta Pavilion Resort as we missed our pick up at the ferry as no one knew who the Tropical garden bungalow where. The rooms are nice clean cabins which are taken care of each day. There is excellent WiFi and this allowed me to get hooked on Black Sails which is on net flicks in Thailand but not in Canada. You have access to the beach from this property and they have complementary breakfast each morning. All are tasty but I recommend the Thai breakfast which is my fav.If you like to snorkel you can do this right from the property. The resort has chairs and area for lounging and drying after a swim or snorkel .The bar at the facility is nice and the staff are friendly .I liked to have a beer here and next door at Hippies. One night I lost my keys on the Beach returning from Hippies and the staff wrote a nice note with my key returned .The restaurant has a BBQ each night and offers local caught fish at affordable prices, very tasty... We were able to book a cooking class and snorkel tour right from the front desk from friendly staff who can speak English well. We rented motor bikes from the resort for good prices and toured the island over a couple of days which is a very recommended activity. We took advantage of the laundry service which is also good value and recommended. We were in Thialnd so we had a message at the resorts message shop.It was coconut oil heaven The last note on staff is to mention Robert Jowers. He is very helpful and friendly. He also has a very calm and compasionate personality that makes him a excellent host. Thanks for your help and attention during our stay at your resort. I would recommend this resort as a vacation destination. While you are in Thailand you also may like to sample some local rum if you partake ,...Sang Som is available at the local 7-11 and is very smooth ... If you are visiting Thailand and get to Koa Lanta visit Lanta Pavilion and say hi to Robert for me. Good travels...Scott
