                The Perfect Guest House

                5 of 5
Everything was perfect! A beautiful and roomy 2-bedroom cottage with extra sun room where we could enjoy the country-like outdoors and Texas Wildflowers through the very large windows. The eclectic mix of the old (included antique furniture pieces and artwork) and new (updated kitchen and bath) made this guest cottage a very special place indeed. Plus having our own covered parking was the icing on the cake! And the hosts were two of the nicest people! We now have a home away from home when we next visit Austin, TX.

Country setting, amazing view and a designer feel

                5 of 5
We travel the country a LOT, and have stayed in some pretty amazing places - but the apartment on Lake Travis is one of the most amazing, nicest, "homiest" places we've ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Greg made our stay feel like we were long time friends coming for a visit. From the gourmet coffee and chocolates that were waiting for us when we arrived (very late at night and I was wondering how we would survive without coffee upon waking lol), to the designer touches throughout, the apartment was a dream. Fully furnished with everything one could need or want, including separate on-demand ice maker, toaster oven, induction cook top (boils water in less than 30 seconds!!), and multiple flatscreen smart TVs. We loved staying and would gladly come back should our travels bring us back to the Austin area. Greg is an amazing and very thoughtful host, and when he heard that my husband's birthday was the weekend he was heading out of town, he left a card and bottle of champaign for us to celebrate with. This is an amazing location, with beautiful sunset views and host who is thoughtful and attentive without being intrusive. If you don't stay here on your trip to Austin, you'll regret it. :-)
