          like camping in luxury

Very nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay very much, and the kids loved the loft, pool, and playground areas. Shower VERY tiny and hot water didn't last long at all for one person, much less six of us. Would stay again for sure, though!

          Great Getaway

I stayed in cabin 4 along the river for 3 nights in late March. The weather was picture perfect, the grounds were impeccably kept, my cabin was quaint, clean and met my needs for a quiet getaway from Austin. I met some incredibly nice neighbors two cabins away that invited me to dinner one night. I would recommend this small resort to anyone looking for a quiet pristine getaway along the Guadalupe river. It is also an excellent resort for families with the pool, put put course, river and other outdoor fun. My only suggestion is perhaps putting mattress pads on the mattresses or replacing mattresses. They were very hard and my back was sore each morning. After my first night on the large bed, I slept on a bunk bed to see if it might be more comfortable. It was not. If the mattresses were improved, I'd give the resort 5 stars.
