Don't miss out - get this place!!!

                  5 of 5
Everything is perfect. Everything. You can walk to tons of amazing restaurants: cajun, asian, Spanish, healthy, American, dessert, coffee shops, 2 ice house/bars, yet it is DEAD quiet at night. I slept like a baby. The owner is tremendously helpful and friendly. There isn't a thing to want for here. If this is remotely the area in Houston you need to be, this is the place to stay!!

                  Houston county livestock shown stay.

                  4 of 5
Over all the property was centrally located near the heart of downtown Houston. We were staying there because my daughter was showing in the Houston County livestock rodeo and it worked out well for us. I will say if you're driving a F250 or greater pick up truck the parking is going to be anything but easy I had to back the vehicle in for easier access to leave. PS. A dully will not fit. If you're looking for a couple get away, you found it.

I DO like Blue Eggs and Sam!

                  5 of 5
This is the perfect place for family gatherings. My sons (10 and 12) and I came to town for my brother's wedding. When I discovered "the ranch" at the same price as a hotel, I excitedly invited other family members to join us, my treat. In all, up to 6 adults and 2 children stayed here for 5 days. "The ranch" quicky became the hub of activity for the rest of my family and some of their friends. Each morning we gathered the beautiful colored eggs and talked to the horses. The zipline was thrilling and well-used (make sure you ask Sam for the equipment because it is not left out in the weather). People arriving from the snowy Northeast particularly enjoyed lounging on the back porch and a cook out in the fire pit. The highlight was renting the gokarts-2 hours was plenty-well worth the extra expense. A real compliment to the owners was that my brother opted to have his groomsmen and himself dress for the wedding from "the ranch". Sam and his family (the owners) were the best hosts. They were available when needed, but non-intrusive. When his wife (pardon my poor memory for names) saw that we were having a cookout, she brought us a red checkered table cloth. The home was very spacious and there was never a feeling of being overcrowded. This is the perfect place for a low key family getaway. This trip will be forever etched in my heart as a warm and meaningful family bonding.
