We came in November, for the Thanksgiving week, to visit relatives that had moved to Benton earlier this year. Coming from Florida, and my wife being a native Tampa girl, had never seen the changing of the seasons. She says that no words can describe the beauty. The hangout is GREAT. Secluded enough to give a city person, the feeling of the country. The place is more than adaquately equipped with linens, towels, pots and pans and spices. We had used some of these items and just replaced what we used. We did not get use of the pool, but it is big. I figure if you want to come with a large group, the bunk house can comfortably sleep six up stairs and four down stairs. The big house will comfortably sleep five, especially if you don't need all that room. The bunk house has a ping-pong table, foose ball table, air hockey table and all sorts of board games, for kids or adults. The place is backed up to National Reserve, so the beauty around you is unbelievable. We will definitely come back in summer months and have our family come enjoy the pool and Bar-B-Ques. There is a real good section, of the house, with chain link fence for kids or dogs. The place was very clean and we had no problems with anything. Sandy was great, she provided so much information, about the house and surroundings. There are two wineries close by to visit, the mountains are all around you, so there is a lot to do, if you want to hit the trails. Would definitely suggest Rock City and Ruby Falls, if you want to make a little trip. Check them out on the internet, before you get there. There is no WiFi, and limited cell service, you are in the mountains. She does have DirecTV for the TV's. Would recommend this site to any one wanting to get away from the city.
