By far the best balcony view of Marigot Bay

                    5 of 5
Although the apartment is a bit of a climb from the beach, it is totally worth the trek up the hill to get a terrific view of the bay. The guest house is lovely, especially apartment #3 where one will find perhaps the only bathtub in Marigot. Although we didn't use the tub, it was certainly part of the charm in this amazing apartment. The living area was so spacious and the kitchen had just about everything we needed to prepare several meals. The king size bed was a bit lumpy, but we solved the problem by simply placing a blanket under the bottom sheet. Coffee on the veranda/balcony every morning is a must as you can see the sailboats come in and out of the bay. The little birds kept us company too...just be sure to close the door or one might fly in! Elaine's attention to detail certainly helped us out a lot with the pre-arrival packet of information about the area. We did a lot during our stay, however we left a few activities for another visit so we could come back to the same place again. Wonderful!!!

                    Amazing location and fun experience

                    4 of 5
We really enjoyed our stay onboard the boat. The location in Marigot Bay is stunning, and the resort facilities are wonderful. We found ourselves frequently by the great pool. It takes some adjusting to staying on an older boat, and the unique facilities and sleeping bunk, but it is perfect for soaking up the marina life. Sarah and Pablo are great hosts, showing us around the marina, pointing out useful tips and checking up on us. When we noted that an outdoor light would be useful on the deck, one appeared the next day. We did have some issues with late night noise coming from across the bay on certain nights and this could be a concern. We also experienced quite a lot of mosquitos, although there is helpfully netting for the bed. All in all, we liked the experience and would recommend for a great way to experience Marigot Bay.

Outstanding setting for relaxation and getting away from the fast pace of life fueled by cruiseships

                    5 of 5
Pablo and Sarah have found their slice of paradise located at the end of a road leading to a secluded hillside home overlooking the caribbean and the entrance to Marigot Bay. They offer the lower half of the home to guests who seek being a little closer to nature and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and comfort of this environment. The views from the upper and lower deck are fantastic as are the gardens and surrounding tropical plants. The rental comes with the basic amenities and a small kitchen for preparing meals. The refrigerator and cabinets are stocked with adequate necessities for your first couple of days so you won't be forced to do a lot of shopping, and they will take you by a grocery store when they pick you up and advise you on what else you may want for your first few days. The hosts are very accommodating and we enjoyed sharing our experiences with them and their knowledge of the area. Therea are a variety of nice restaurants in Marigot harbour, but you will probably want to have a rented car to get to them.
