Great house for 2-3 families, very clean

      5 of 5
This is a large house with super view from very big deck with three tables and gas grill. Furnished with everything you need for great stay. Four bedrooms plus three futons. Large level parking for several cars. Located in heart of activities for beautiful Black Hills. Manager answered all our questions and was very helpful. We will rent the Owls Nest again for our family vacation

      Relaxing mountain cabin

      5 of 5
After a week at this well-loved cabin, we felt as if we had stepped off the earth...we were so relaxed. The cabin is very clean and the owners have thoughtfully furnished every item we needed for a week "off the grid." The cabin is located within an hour or so driving distance of every place we wanted to visit while exploring beautiful South Dakota (Mount Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, etc.) The large loft bedroom was my favorite - opening my eyes at dawn to view the Black Hills through the large second level window was an amazing way to start the day. We soaked in the peaceful views of the Black Hills while drinking coffee in the cool mornings on the deck, while eating dinner at the farmhouse-style table, or while sitting on the sofa in the open living area - in other words from dawn until dark. On cool nights, we were very cozy enjoying each other's company while enjoying a fire in the fireplace. The downstairs bedrooms and open den area provided a separate living area when someone needed a little space for themselves. We hope to return to this wonderful cabin if we are able to return to the Black Hills again.
