This was our first lake house rental experience and the bar has been set very high. Open concept design with very comfortable furnishings, extremely clean and well kept, and filled with everything you may need both in the house and on the water. Awesome concrete path leads you to the lake and private dock. Canoe, kayaks, and paddle boat are fun to use in the quiet cove. Even a nice porch swing on the dock to sit in the shade and enjoy the water. Info available in the house for boat rentals that actually deliver the boat to you. Not a far boat ride from open water at Coneross Creek Road. The house sits in quite surroundings and is positioned well on the property to keep it shaded, but the air conditioner and ceiling fans do a fantastic job of keeping the house comfortable. All rooms are spacious and two of the bedrooms have dual beds so this place can accommodate large families. The game/pool table area is in a large loft so you can be playing a game and still be connected with what is happening downstairs. Cards and some table games available. The kitchen island and large table make for great gathering places while others can relax in the main room. The fridge is large and spotless, dishwasher is fairly quiet, and the kitchen has most anything you would need to prepare a meal. Even glass baking pans, food storage containers, crock pot, toaster, and blender. Coffee maker, coffee, tea, and sugar ready to greet you. There is body soap in the showers, bath and beach towels available, dish soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags, paper towels...it was as easy as being at home. Aside from the lake access, the screen porch with ceiling fans is the most fantastic aspect because you can enjoy the outside at any time without being exposed to bugs. Citronella candles were provided but bring some insect repellent spray along for early morning or later evening outings. This is a great vacation home, you will be happy you came!
