                  Lahinch

                  4 of 5
My family and I just returned from a week stay at "Lahinch house", named after a sea side town in Ireland of which the owner was from and we happened to have visited as well! We had 2 families(and a Granny) with children ranging in ages from 2-11. This house was great for all of the above. The neighborhood of Bonnet Shores was ideal for our children riding bikes, playing in the water and fishing off the dock. There is a nice screened in porch and deck where the adults could relax in the evening have a chat and listen to the waves. The house was very homey, comfortable, tidy and clearly a very special place to the family who owns it. There are subtle touches of Ireland throughout the home which we appreciated, as my husband is from Wexford and most of us visiting, have some Irish heritage. Both the young and old were able to nap peacefully away from the action while still listening to the sound of the waves and feel the nice breeze. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. The only complaint was that the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Mainly this was an issue of the house itself just being an older home with original bathrooms. Other than that we loved it and plan to return. Great location and nice house.

Surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, crabbing, kayaking, jogging, & golf all within 5 minute DRIVE. Hard to fit it all in. All followed by outdoor shower. Love this area. Roomy home lacks nothing including central AC. HOPE TO RETURN 2017

                  Beautiful stay in Bonnet Shores!

                  5 of 5
We loved our stay at this home on Bonnet Shores. The house has a gorgeous view of the bay with some boats always moored and two bridges visible from the porch. We spent as much time as possible sitting on the front porch gazing at the view and watching the local bunny romp in the grassy lawn. The interior is well-equipped with comfortable couches and beds. We were traveling with two small children and were able to put the baby in a pack-n-play in the den that attaches to the downstairs bedroom, and there was still an additional living room with a TV available. Our older son loved the owner's extensive Disney videotape collection which bought us some time each morning when we were preparing to go to the beach. There is also a washer/dryer and wifi which was great. If you haven't stayed in Bonnet Shores before, it is a great location. Near Dunkin Donuts, Roche's (a great grocery store) and the town of Narragansett, but still feels relaxed. We hope to stay again next year!
