My family and I just returned from a week stay at "Lahinch house", named after a sea side town in Ireland of which the owner was from and we happened to have visited as well!
We had 2 families(and a Granny) with children ranging in ages from 2-11. This house was great for all of the above. The neighborhood of Bonnet Shores was ideal for our children riding bikes, playing in the water and fishing off the dock. There is a nice screened in porch and deck where the adults could relax in the evening have a chat and listen to the waves. The house was very homey, comfortable, tidy and clearly a very special place to the family who owns it. There are subtle touches of Ireland throughout the home which we appreciated, as my husband is from Wexford and most of us visiting, have some Irish heritage. Both the young and old were able to nap peacefully away from the action while still listening to the sound of the waves and feel the nice breeze. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. The only complaint was that the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Mainly this was an issue of the house itself just being an older home with original bathrooms. Other than that we loved it and plan to return. Great location and nice house.
