Just book it! Its a great little cottage

The experience of the St Adele house was great. We are from NY and have not explored this area but hope to come back next year for more skiing and tubing. The house is a short 10-15 minute drive to grocery stores and restaurants. Many decent sized ski slopes in the the area and St Savour etc is a very easy drive. But I will cut to the chase- the house! The house was very clean upon arrival. The roads to get there in the winter could be interesting without all wheel drive but they were not really bad for us at all. There are 2 good sized bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. My family of 4 fit great. You are in the woods. You can see a couple of the neighbors but no issues and generally it was very quiet and serene. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The couches were great and around the wood burning fireplace which we loved sitting around after a long day exploring/skiing etc. One thing we liked about the house is that the heat thermostats are in almost every room which allows you to leave the bedroom cooler than the rest of the house or vice versa etc. There is a room in the basement that is very basic but does have a few activities for younger children. If you are looking for a nice little place that fits a family of 4 perfectly just book this... Chantal was very responsive and easy to work with. Electric lock means check in and out is easy.

Truly a home away from home

My family of 5 adults had the pleasure of staying at this delightful home while on our first vacation in Canada. Candiac is relatively close to both Montreal and the airport, with the drive taking approximately 35 minutes to either location. There are several grocery stores (IGAs) within 10 minutes of the house. This home is extremely spacious, exceptionally clean, and unbelievably quiet. The four bedrooms are well appointed with beautiful furniture and art pieces (especially for the nautical types). The bathrooms are very spacious, especially the Master bath, which has a huge walk-in shower (in fact, the Master bathroom alone is probably bigger than most hotel rooms). The kitchen is equipped with every possible item that you can think of, and then some. Every possible cooking utensil is there! We ended up cooking dinner several times during our week there, and I felt totally at home. Plus all paper products, spices, cleaning supplies....already there, ready to go. Also, there is a very nice propane grill that I used, and it was awesome! On the covered patio, there is a table overlooking the impeccably well manicured yard and the small pool. We spent many evenings sitting and talking on that glorious patio. Again, even though there are several houses close by, it was very quiet.......no dogs barking, no sirens blaring, etc. The living room has very comfortable furniture with a comprehensive entertainment center at your disposal. The only minor hiccup we encountered was that our US DVDs did not want to play in the DVD players. The study has a printer for printing boarding passes, and the house has Wifi. The laundry facility was much appreciated, because it made it possible for us to travel light (we didn't need to bring a lot of extra clothes). Both the washer and dryer worked perfectly. The basement level has the fourth bedroom as well as the pool table. That's where my two kids would run to after a long day of sightseeing. There is also a two bay garage, which was also spacious, however we never parked the car inside. The owner was extremely professional throughout the rental booking process, as well as before, during, and after our stay. The owner has definitely thought of everything with this vacation property, and you will not be disappointed with your stay. The only issue you may have, is that you won't want to leave.
