This was our first family vacation that included grandchildren and the villa was the perfect size. The location was secluded but there was a pool and park across the street and a beach within walking distance. The property was just as pictured on the website and every terrace had a great view. We had plenty of space to be together or separate. We grilled out a few nights and ate out on the patio-very pleasant! The elevator was very convenient and the little ones loved riding with us!
We rented a van to venture out to other beaches and siteseeing excursions but could have easily stayed in Dorado the entire time. We recommend taking the ferry to Old San Juan-it was cheap, fun, and we didn't have to struggle with parking. Shopping in OSJ was fun as was the siteseeing! We tried some true Puerto Rican restaurants (especially Katrina's in Dorado) but there were plenty of the familiar restaurants to choose from, too.
The only negatives were that the mattresses (except the king) were a little too firm for our taste, we would all have liked more pillows, and the hot water in the master shower was inconsistent with the rest of the house. All were minor inconveniences that did not disrupt our stay but we all agreed that they should be mentioned. We had a brief issue with the Wi-fi that was immediately taken care of by the property manager, Marisabel.
We all had a wonderful time and will definitely return! We highly recommend this property! Thank you!
