My friends and I spent two nights up in this beautiful cottage by the lake. We were more than satisfied during our stay! The owner is extremely organized, and everything was as described. What I loved most about this cabin was its woody and cozy feel. The living room has sofas, a dining table, a smart TV, and a cozy gas fireplace – which warms the cottage up in no time. Outside, there’s a firepit with chairs around it and a grill with a nice deck. And the best part – an amazing view of the lake which we walked to during our stay.
There is also a big dining room and a kitchen that has everything – literally! (pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster oven, wine/beer opener, baking trays, and all the spices you can imagine). There’s also plenty of plates/mugs/glassware. The owner graciously provides you with paper plates too, for those lazy days :)
We did not use the washer/dryer – but both are present. The beds were comfortable – with memory foam as promised. The owner provides plenty of blankets and pillows – but definitely bring your own sheets. Everything was super clean!
The cottage is in a gated community that not only makes you feel safe (while feeling like you live in the wilderness), but also has 24hr access to a lounge where there are games and other amenities – my friends and I enjoyed playing air hockey and table tennis. Overall, this place was very affordable (and this is coming from someone who’s still paying her student loans). The only downside to this property is the $25 parking fee per car – but try your best to carpool. In the end, the fee was worth it for the beautiful property and nearby amenities. My friends and I also went snow tubing and skiing, which was only a 30 min drive away at Camelback. I have already recommended this place to all my friends and can’t wait to come back in the summer!
