This is a nice property a few blocks from the lake. The house is in generally good shape, although there were a couple broken chair seats and other very minor issues. The front doorframe could use a new coat of paint. (I mention this more for the sake of preserving the wood from the elements such as rain).
Plenty of room for the six of us, with three bedrooms, two on the ground floor. The master upstairs has a king sized bed, as well as two twins. We used the twins to lay out our clothes. The upper loft also had a futon. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. We weren't sure about the type of coffee maker, so we brought our own, as well as our coffee grinder. There is a drip coffee maker, so bring filters if you want to use it, as well as already-ground coffee. The propane grill on the back deck was large enough for our six and probably another six guests.
The owner is very responsive, and he made getting access to the house very easy. The association has staffing at the gate house 24/7, which allowed for flexibility regarding arrival (and retrieval of the gate passes). We appreciated that we were allowed to bring our well behaved golden retriever with us. The house has accessible broom and dustpan for anything that came in with him (or us).
The neighborhood is a great place for walking. The route around the lake is four miles, and it is very pleasant. We didn't go to the pools, but there were several. The beaches were nice, and the one closest to the house has a floating platform that one can swim to.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and we liked the house and neighborhood.
